If our staff is good with signing Norman, I'm all in. I trust them. Sure he got paid, but players wanna win. I believe the Skins situation is part of his decline. You give your all and notice the franchise doesn't know what it's doing(ex. some wanted Haskins, some didn't. Trent Williams fiasco), you kinda question why you're there. We seem to know what we're doing and there should be a level of trust both ways. He wouldn't have to be "The Man" on our defense. I think he would compliment White and the rest of the D just fine. Beane knows what he's doing in relation to the cap. If Norman is brought in, it wouldn't jeopardize our cap situation. He reminds me of Richard Sherman. Up there in age, but can still contribute a lot in the right situation.
