Josh: "What an honor to meet the GOAT!"

I love watching that show, along with listening to the Dan Le Batard Show on radio. I definitely disagree with him on Allen, but those shows are a nice change of pace for me. 'You just don't get the show" is a quote they constantly throw out there to anyone who asks why they talk very little sports. They talk about the sports world, just not much in the way of x' and o's. They know this and even make fun of themselves for this, while acknowledging you can go anywhere and get the "boring" x's and o's shows. They even say you can go watch, "oh, I don't know, Undisputed. You'll be back". IMO, there is no show worse than Undisputed.

If, in week 17 we have nothing to gain or lose vs. the Jets, I think duke and yeldon will be activated. I wish them success, but please keep in mind our coaching staff has guided this team to the playoffs in 2 out of the past 3 seasons. Without duke or yeldon. Beating the duke horse to a pulp is kinda ridiculous at this point. Even when disguised as a different topic.

Wallace is a 2nd year player and is tied with Edmunds in SOLO tackles at 62, 4th in total tackles at 71. I think Wallace being tagged with the "can't tackle" label is overblown.Way overblown. He also has the 2nd most passes defended by a db at 8. Someone here actually wrote he would be the 1st player he would cut in the off-season. WOW!

Maybe I could have written it better. I was referring to eball as being thin skinned over nothing. Josh is actually taking any criticisms like a champ. Baker should follow Josh as an example on how to deal with this stuff. Edit: As the father of a daughter, I'm with you. Didn't hear it and won't even bother listening. OK,Douche it is.

Thanks for the input. I think someone who calls Chris a "douche" can handle my characterization of him as Josh in disguise. His opinion is a strong one. He's entitled to that opinion, just as you mentioned. The fact that I characterized him that way and you don't like it, doesn't mean I am not entitled to my opinion. It doesn't work that way. Calling Chris a douche is also "so wrong", as you put it. My characterization of Eball as Josh is pretty tame, if we're comparing the two. I've read plenty of posts with harsher characterizations of others. As to the rest of your post, I get it. I like Josh, but my post wasn't anti Josh. IMO, some here are thin skinned to criticisms of Josh. One of the worst critics is Dan Le Batard . He harps on how bad Josh is and how we're winning in spite of Josh. Comes with the territory of being a QB in the NFL. I still love the Dan Le Batard show and listen though. Respectfully, Dopey

Then he says "go figure". When I heard that, I laughed. I took it as "well they just proved me wrong, go figure". Not sure how you find that as a slight. 3) At NO time does he credit Allen with the perfectly thrown pass to Kroft. Watch it yourself. Wallace is a major contributor. He he's tied with Edmunds for the lead in solo tackles and the only DB with more passes defended is White. And he's only in his 2nd season in the league. IMO, you're missing something in your assessment. I think Coach and Beane would lean on keeping someone like him.

He looks OK to me. But I'm not expecting all pros at every position. We have a top 5 defense and he's a big part of it. Wallace is 3rd on the team in total tackles and he's tied for 1st in solo tackles. Maybe, just maybe you're looking for this week's whupping boy and don't appreciate when he makes a play. He's made plenty of good plays this year. For every "bad" play he's made, I'm sure if you tried, you could find 3 or 4 good plays. I found 2 with limited video. When Conner shook Hyde out of his shoes, guess who helped bring Conner down? Wallace. Pittsburgh's final drive, 1:31 left to play and Conner gets a dump off pass. Wallace comes up and makes the tackle, even though the WR blocking him is holding. And the cherry on top?!?
