  1. Because I trust Beane, I was torn when the pick was made. In between " WTH" and "I trust Beane". I trust Beane.
  2. As a Bills fan, I've been doing this for years: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://fox8.com/2020/01/07/have-the-browns-blues-petition-to-make-medical-marijuana-a-treatment-for-bengals-browns-fans-submitted-to-state/amp/&ved=2ahUKEwinrLblgPXmAhVEb60KHSM3ALkQ0PADegQIARAH&usg=AOvVaw0_tvIH8Q7XEi4uiBDMy6Qq&ampcf=1
  3. I ran a few simulations on fanspeak and my favorite results had Cam Akers in the 4th and Dillon with 1 of our 5th. FSU has had such a bad oline the last 3 yrs, but Akers still produced. When i say bad, think Bill line last year. If Akers can do what he did behind that line, he should do well behind a competent line like ours. That has us with Devin, Cam and Dillon. All 3 i n rookie deals too. Just my take.
  4. He should have caught this contested pass. That's the only attribute he brings. No one mentions the critical drop with a minute left in regulation either. Turn your video on to 1 minute left in regulation. Also the only time he was "open" all night was a 5 yd slant where the db was 8 yds off the los. For a guy " who's open when he's not", he sure wasn't. We went from " coaches are dumb not to put him in" to making excuses for his 2 critical drops. IMO We don't need a guy who MIGHT catch a contested pass cuz he struggles to get open.
  5. Conley's defense and the op's picture come into play only after Duke misses on his initial attempt to catch a pass that was perfectly placed and should have been caught.
  6. Way to mislead the Duke contingent. Others aren't falling for It though. There is a video clip that shows your picture was after Duke let the ball slip through his hands. He should have caught it. Your pic shows Conley defending Duke from catching his own bobble. Also, with 1 minute left in regulation, Duke dropped a perfect back shoulder pass where he got 2 hands on it. Booger mentioned it too. We would have gone from our 47yd line to the texans 33yd line. Instead of game planning for a td, we're now forced to get in fg range. He was being defended, but a perfectly placed ball was in both hands only to be dropped. These are exactly the plays Duke fans say he makes, all the time. He failed, big time. Someone here wrote, if he was active all season, he would have caught everything. He had 232 attempts in Canada, with 101 NOT completed. 101 not completed!! That is not catching everything. It's the opposite. He made a few catches vs Houston and the Jets, but it took 12 attempts vs the Jets to make 6 receptions and 10 vs Houston to make 4 receptions. This, plus the #s in Canada show one thing. Duke is consistently inconsistent. Maybe we should burn the Duke highlight videos and look at a video of his fails. Contrary to the experts here posting highlights, the coaching staff knew what they were doing in sitting him.
  7. Watch the video. Conley got his hand in there after Duke whiffed on the ball. He had both hands on the ball at first. Conley kept Duke from catching his own bobble. Either way Duke should have made the catch. Those types of plays are the only reason he was even on the team.
  8. Just before halftime, your complaint should be Duke dropping a td right in his hands. If knox or morse make 1 block on the qb sweep in ot, josh either scores or we're in position for a game winning fg. Overall, the play calling was fine. Execution on the other hand... That's on the players.
  9. Watch the video. It wasn't DPI.
  10. I don't know where you got the picture, but that picture is AFTER Duke let's the ball go through his hands. He tried to catch his bobble and that gave the db a chance to make that play. That ball was placed perfectly. He should have caught that ball. Plus the Duke crowd swore this was the exact play he makes. He didn't and he never had more than a 1/2 step on his defender all night. He was open on one slant and for some reason the db was about 8 yds off the los. 1 minute left in regulation from our 47yd line and Josh hits Duke at the texans 33 yd line, in the hands. Perfect back shoulder throw. Hits him in the hands and yep, he lets it hit the ground. Again, the type of pass some of you swear he makes all the time. Shoulda had it. We would be 1st and 10 at their 33 driving for a td. Instead we're at our 47 yd line trying to get in fg range. "But he's open even when he's not", they say. Cuz he's never open. You just kinda said if the defender hadn't played defense, Duke would have caught it. Forget that Duke catches all the contested passes. Except for when he doesn't.
  11. Love the show. Josh did give them some good material.
  12. I blame Duke. Some of you guys swore up and down Duke catches everything thrown his way. He had his chance an dropped it. I replayed it a few times and that pass should have been caught. He had another critical drop too. Targeted 10 times for 4 catches. 12 targets vs the jets for 6 catches in a scrimmage game. 22 targets for 10 receptions and a dropped td. 101 passes that were not caught by Duke in 2 yrs of Canadian football. He's big, and that's it. I hope we bring in 3 wrs via fa and the draft. Duke and Foster should be gone.
  13. From Mirriam-Webtser.com : one that is outwardly powerful or dangerous but inwardly weak or ineffectual. I didn't see the Bills acting anything like this. They were humble and hardworking all season. Never acted like they were anything other than a hard working team trying to get better. If you were a Browns fan and felt this way, the definition would apply better. Doesn't matter what the fans or media says. The OP was applying the term to the Bills, not the fans or media. So he might know what it means, but he used it incorrectly. From Mirriam-Webtser.com : one that is outwardly powerful or dangerous but inwardly weak or ineffectual. 14. But that was a contested pass. ?
  15. Nick Foles ain't coming through that door.
  16. They were drops. Especially the one on the sidelines.
  17. It's not that the coaches realized it too late. He only played last week because it was a "scrimmage" and we didn't want our starters to suffer injury. He played today cuz Roberts was inactive with a foot injury. He had his chance to do what Duke fans said he does all the time. Make the tough catch. Josh put the ball right there for a td. He had another critical drop too. There's a reason he sat so much. Maybe this is what he's been doing in practice. Being inconsistent. But fans know better than our staff. Riiiight.
  18. According to some here, that is exactly the type of play makes all the time. That ball hit him in both hands. That ball should have been caught. He had another critical drop in this game. He's jag. Hopefully we draft a wr and pick one up in FA.
  19. C Too many head scratching plays. The game looks too fast for him still. He'll be better for this experience.
  20. As one of Duke's biggest detractors, I hope he does really well. He's a Bill!! Let's get this win!
