Gregg Rosenthal wrote an article for nfl.com on what each AFC team should do to dethrone the Chiefs next year. He say we should add more offensive play makers(duh). He doesn't want Bills fans to fool themselves into thinking Josh carry the Bills on his arm alone. I found it interesting that he seems to like Daboll and how he schemes to cover up weaknesses and accentuate his strengths. A few more interesting tidbits: Colts should take on Rivers(not Brady) and the Raiders should move on from Carr and Miami is going to have to move up for Tua. I looked to see if anyone else posted this, but couldn't find anything. Please merge if I missed it. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001099360/article/one-thing-each-afc-team-can-do-to-dethrone-the-chiefs-in-2020

Revisiting the 2019 Bills Draft. How do they rate? Trying to stay on track. No need to keep crying about Mahomes, I guess some can't help themselves. Without the use of hindsight, I am very happy with this draft. I decided to give grades to each player. There were a couple of players I didn't see enough of or didn't pay enough attention to and noted so. Round 1 • Pick 9 (9) • DT Ed Oliver. B :Took a while to adjust to a different position from college. Good rookie season. Round 2 • Pick 6 (38) • T Cody Ford. B :Played vs. some really talented DEs and held up well for the most part. Good Rookie season. Round 3 • Pick 11 (74) • RB Devin Singletary. B+ :He is better than I thought. Wasn't featured enough. Should take a step forward next year. Round 3 • Pick 33 (96) • TE Dawson Knox. B- :Wasn't featured as a pass catching TE in college, so it was a work in progress. Will be better next year. Working out in the off season with Josh will help. Round 5 • Pick 9 (147) • LB Vosean Joseph. Incomplete. Hopefully he comes back healthy and adds solid depth. Round 6 • Pick 8 (181) • S Jaquan Johnson. Incomplete. Didn't see/watch enough of him and I didn't watch the Jets 'scrimmage' at the end of the season. Round 7 • Pick 11 (225) • DE Darryl Johnson Incomplete. Didn't see/watch enough of him to grade. Will have a better idea next year. Round 7 • Pick 14 (228) • TE Tommy Sweeney C+: I did like what I saw when he was in. Did well for a 7th round pick. He will be a better version of Lee Smith.

What makes you think Beane wants to get rid of him? The price of good dts isn't going down. Maybe they see Star is doing exactly what they signed him to do. For the price he signed for. I think he's worth his contract. So does Beane. Why folks keep insisting it's a forgone conclusion he'll be cut next year is misguided. Oliver and Harrison are on rookie deals. When their payday comes, Star will probably be out. It's almost like there's a plan in place. Imagine that.

Potential Kareem Hunt Interest

If it's good *****, you can. -
From this list, give me : Offense WR-One of Robby Anderson/Tajae Sharpe/Demarcus Robinson/Breshad Perriman RB-One of Kenyon Drake or Jordan Howard G- retain Spain. If we don't retain Spain, then I would like Graham Glasgow. He can play G and provide depth at C. Defense CB-retain Johnson LB- Don't know if we spend big $ here. If we do I would like one of Fowler/Judon/Dupree. If not, Collins to replace Lorax. DE-Depends on what we do at LB. If we go big time at LB, then retain Shaq. If we don't go big time at LB, then go all out for Yannick. Or dial it down a bit and go after Quinn. ST Find a punter This will allow for flexibility in the draft to take the BPA or move up by offering any of our two 5th or three 6th rounders.

My Off-Season Primer: Position Group: OL
HerdMenatlity1 replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks MAJBobby, Here's what I would like to see happen: LT Dawkins-extend. We have a really good one here. Why create a hole at LT? LG Spain- re-sign. He's everything you want in a LG. Not signing him means creating a hole at LG. We have the $. C Morse- We're good for now RG Feliciano- keep him right there. He's was also to fill in at C here and there. RT Ford- Keep him there. He had ups and downs like any rookie would. Moving Ford to LG is a mistake, IMO. This O-line has only 1 year together. From Center to LT was really good. No need to break that up. In reading posts here and watching him play, Ford had some plays that leave something to be desired, but he wasn't nearly as bad as some make him out to be. He will be in competition for that spot next year, but I think he wins out. Feliciano can battle it out with a draft pick/FA/Long, but I think he wins out also. I wouldn't mind an interior guy in the draft, C/OG to battle Feliciano in this scenario and provide insurance for Morse's concussion concerns. Find a swing tackle and we're good. I think our Oline will be a lot better come season opener with continuity. I seem to recall they never played together as a unit until in the preseason. That means a lot. -
I thought he switched to boxing? https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.sportingnews.com/us/amp/nfl/news/antonio-brown-is-now-down-for-boxing-match-with-logan-paul-even-as-big-underdog/1qlunhbcy37ft1qzl3ik12jyjx&ved=2ahUKEwi4itnAupXnAhVPn-AKHf-0Ah8QFjAFegQIBhAB&usg=AOvVaw1LRPx-H1XFIvHTIgXzicqW&cf=1

Andre Roberts going to Pro Bowl as KR
HerdMenatlity1 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Again, my bad for not making it clear I was being sarcastic. Big Duke detractor that I am, I would prefer him over Foster. Only Foster. My hope is we upgrade enough to where both are expendable. -

My bad, I should have mentioned this post was meant to be sarcastic. I believe I'm one of Duke's biggest detractors. I keep Andre over Duke all day, every day. -

He won't be back next year. We need that spot for Duke. -
By costrovs thinking, we could move Spain a couple of feet to his left and he could play LT as well as Dawkins. I stopped replying when he posted that nonsense. I don't think Jordan will be here next year. Someone will pay more than we're willing to. We can't pay someone that much who won't even start for us. Unless our staff feels he can handle Star's position. I mean it is only 3.5 ft different. ?

Titans are 1 Tom Brady away from SB contention. Flame away if you want. -
1st It can be pass too but I said give. Look at the video. Not a good start. ? 2nd I never mentioned Harry. Strike 2 ? 3rd replacing Star isn't as easy as you think. Jordan can't do Star's job. Not even close. Neither can Oliver. There's a reason Star is a starter and not Jordan. As for your spoiler alert, it's called rotation. ? I'm not even gonna bother with the rest. Wanna know why? Jordan couldn't even crack the starting line-up next year with Star, Harry and Oliver, so he ain't getting paid here. Puff puff give.

There's a big difference between " who played better" and "they all sucked". Read my post again, if you need to. Trying to answer that question to someone who thought Phillips could replace Star is a waste of time. If you think he put the whole dline on his back, Dopey wants some of what you're smoking. Puff puff give...

I'm sure Daboll is sleeping just fine in the bed he made. Duke and TJ are jags. Check the game scores with Duke playing and you'll see we still only scored 17 per game. And that's with 31 vs the dolphins. Other than the dolphin game, we scored 14, 13, 6 and 19 in the playoff game where he dropped 2 crucial passes. Some of you need to put the Duke thing to bed already. If he was even close to what some of you make him out to be, why did he sit on the practice squad for so long? Any team could have picked him up, but he just sat there. It's like you think you know something that every other staff in the nfl doesn't. You don't. They both got chances and were benched. They're not any good. Plus, Daboll mentioned in an interview he doesn't make personnel decisions. Coach and Beane do.
