  1. You're giving your opinion and so is thurman. You not agreeing doesn't equate to him giving excuses. You think there is a huge gap from Star to the " best" out there doing what he does. Cool. Remember, it just your opinion. The excuses line is crap. He has an opinion that opposes yours. It's ok. I don't know it all, thurman doesn't know it all and neither do you. Self righteous attitudes here suck. Get over yourself.
  2. I'm so glad the Daboll haters have to "suffer" at least 1 more year. But can some of you get more creative than "Dumboll"? You come off as dumb as you try to make him to look.
  3. The only stable player on the defensive interior. Harry gets hurt, Oliver was a rookie, Peko?!, Leuiget?!? and he allowed Jordan to not get doubled. He had an aging de who is in decline next to him(Hughes) and another de who just isn't good(murph). Some guys just don't know how good he was last year. HOPEFULLY Harry comes back healthy, but this defense needed and still needs Star.
  4. You should give it a shot. It can be fun in your down time.
  5. I think Tom is a URFA, so he could sign there on his own and Cleveland wouldn't have to give up any picks. I think Dallas would be ideal for Tom, if they don't sign Dak.
  6. Roger Goodell: "With the 10th pick in the 2020 NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns select...Justin Herbert, University of Oregon".
  7. If you want the wr opposite of Brown to be jag, sure. To me, it's not keeping one over the other. I didn't advocate for Devin. As I wrote, we don't need either. We need an upgrade.
  8. His name is Brian Daboll and if you think his "doghouse" is the reason, I have ocean front property in Kansas to sell you.
  9. They're both jags. We don't need either of them.
  10. I mentioned Ralph should have given up control by then. He was 80 yrs old by then. Not saying I know for sure, but he was probably thinking more about philanthropy/legacy than the actual nuts and bolts of running a winning franchise. But if the question is who is/was a better owner, so far Ralph was a better owner of the Bills than Pegula of the Sabres. Ralph at least had some winning moments. Pegs hasn't won jack as a Sabres owner. Well, Jack is all he's won.
  11. Ralph(Bills): Back to back AFL Championships 4 Straight Superbowl appearances Playoff appearances in every decade except 2000's and 2010's. I feel he should have given control to someone else by the year 2000(he was 80). Terry(Sabres): Really?!? I don't even want to go there! I didn't vote for 2 reasons: 1) Ralph owned the Bills for over 1/2 a century. Wondering how many that voted aren't even 25 yrs old yet. Pegula's time with the Sabres doesn't have a big enough sample size to compare to Ralph with the Bills. If the goal is winning, Ralph wins in a landslide. He lost a ton, but because of how long he owned the Bills compared to Pegula owning the Sabres, this isn't a fair question. To either owner. Pegula might get the Sabres on track to being a playoff team, but it shouldn't have taken this long. Correct me if I'm wrong, but all the Sabres have to show for Pegula's tenure is Jack Eichel and we really wanted Connor. 2) Comparing Hockey to Football isn't fair either. In hockey 1 or 2 moves and you're a playoff team. Not the same in Football, save for maybe QB. To me, the only comparison would be how each went about hiring management/coaching staffs. Ralph was for the most part cheap in this regard, but he did bring in Butler and Polian. Pegula has yet to find the right GM and/or coach for the Sabres, again the sample size is too small.
  12. Chicken Boo had it right. Josh needs to get better.
  13. Arm chair QB's Monday morning coaches Gotta love 'em
  14. Howie Long belongs in the Hall, no question to me. Terrell Davis, on the other hand...
  15. Ticket prices will increase with a new stadium, but I just don't see a new stadium pushing Bills fans to buy more merchandise, etc. unless the new stadium has more seating. I thought most newer stadiums were downsizing. One thing Jerry has going for him is the standing room only tickets. I'm assuming they're cheaper, but 4-5k more fans buying beer and jerseys really adds up. Living in Fl. I don't know if we do that. Any idea?
  16. He does need work on this, but he'll be 28 yrs old next September. I'm thinking he is what he is by now.
  17. My aunt used to wrap gifts with the Sunday comics. That was her "thing". Now she just hands you the gift, unwrapped.
  18. Gregg Rosenthal wrote an article for nfl.com on what each AFC team should do to dethrone the Chiefs next year. He say we should add more offensive play makers(duh). He doesn't want Bills fans to fool themselves into thinking Josh carry the Bills on his arm alone. I found it interesting that he seems to like Daboll and how he schemes to cover up weaknesses and accentuate his strengths. A few more interesting tidbits: Colts should take on Rivers(not Brady) and the Raiders should move on from Carr and Miami is going to have to move up for Tua. I looked to see if anyone else posted this, but couldn't find anything. Please merge if I missed it. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001099360/article/one-thing-each-afc-team-can-do-to-dethrone-the-chiefs-in-2020
  19. Revisiting the 2019 Bills Draft. How do they rate? Trying to stay on track. No need to keep crying about Mahomes, I guess some can't help themselves. Without the use of hindsight, I am very happy with this draft. I decided to give grades to each player. There were a couple of players I didn't see enough of or didn't pay enough attention to and noted so. Round 1 • Pick 9 (9) • DT Ed Oliver. B :Took a while to adjust to a different position from college. Good rookie season. Round 2 • Pick 6 (38) • T Cody Ford. B :Played vs. some really talented DEs and held up well for the most part. Good Rookie season. Round 3 • Pick 11 (74) • RB Devin Singletary. B+ :He is better than I thought. Wasn't featured enough. Should take a step forward next year. Round 3 • Pick 33 (96) • TE Dawson Knox. B- :Wasn't featured as a pass catching TE in college, so it was a work in progress. Will be better next year. Working out in the off season with Josh will help. Round 5 • Pick 9 (147) • LB Vosean Joseph. Incomplete. Hopefully he comes back healthy and adds solid depth. Round 6 • Pick 8 (181) • S Jaquan Johnson. Incomplete. Didn't see/watch enough of him and I didn't watch the Jets 'scrimmage' at the end of the season. Round 7 • Pick 11 (225) • DE Darryl Johnson Incomplete. Didn't see/watch enough of him to grade. Will have a better idea next year. Round 7 • Pick 14 (228) • TE Tommy Sweeney C+: I did like what I saw when he was in. Did well for a 7th round pick. He will be a better version of Lee Smith.
