Good one. So back to the op's question. How are they doing as an admin? If you can't answer without separating them, just leave it for those that can. If he wanted your thoughts on coaching alone or management alone, he would have said so.
-
Dude, that's an opinion you have. Doesn't make you right or him wrong. That high horse you're on is really a shetland pony.
-
He asked about the Beane and McDermott administration(McBeane). I took it as how are they doing together? You don't have to play. Then you give a lower score.
-
Maybe some are, but I'm not. Play/production vs cost would be Kroft, in a landslide. "Lotulelei is a space-eater who makes life easier for his teammates, but that alone is probably not worth $10 million per year. -- Marcel Louis-Jacques" If Star were a space-eater who makes life easier for his teammates AND put up the numbers Marcel and some here would like to see, Star would be making Aaron Donald type money. Like I said earlier Marcel is way off on this one.

I think he was the most important interior defensive lineman over the past 2 years and I made that pretty clear. Sometimes these threads can go way off topic. Back to the original premise of this thread, picking up Star in FA is far from being the worst move in the last 5 years. It looks like you can agree on that.
-
He's complaining about money, not performance. He only chose Poyer because he's on the cheap. He's saying picking up Star was worse than a guy who quit...during a game? Even with money being his criteria, Star was well worth the $10 mil. Thing is, the complaints are because he's not doing what some here want from a dt. He's not a sack guy, he creates sack opportunities for others. He's doing exactly what the staff wants. If folks don't like his role, blame McBean. If Star was injured early last season we're not even close to a top 5 d. Peko, Jordan, Corey? Harrison gets hurt, no problem. Star is there to stabilize the interior. We rode Star to the playoffs. That's worth the $ he made. He didn't create cap hell with his contract. Davis, Kroft, Lee Smith,Gore, Murphy are worse FA signings, by far. They should be judged by performance. Edit: this is all just my opinion. I see his point, just don't agree with performance not being the main criteria. We're here to win.
-
If star is the worst, we're doing damn well. Don't understand the hate. Harrison gets hurt, we bring in a rookie, jordan, peko, corey. Star is the only stable interior player we've had the last 2 years. On a top 5 defense to boot. Marcel Louis-Jaques is an idiot.

Bills resign Spencer Long, Foster, and Levi

No, I didn't watch the pro bowl. Nothing to gain from it. There is NO defense being played in that game. You really got something out of that game compared to a regular season game that matters?! Wow! I'm sure it was flooded with scouts. You watching the pro bowl and actually taking it serious shows perhaps YOU need to find a new hobby. "He kicked ass at the pro bowl! We messed up not using him more", what a joke. -

Now that's an incessant Carolina connection right there.
-
We brought in 3-4 new fa wrs, 2 new rbs via fa, essentially a new oline via fa. Kevin Johnson, jordan phillips etc. I lost track of how many came from Carolina.
-
I want to see your list of the staff that gets it right. %100 of the time? That list would be a very short list. Like, zero names.
-
I don't care what ScottLaw says. Star is good. This was based on me watching Star, not McBeane.
-
Puff puff give. I'm next.

There we go.

The Star deal has worked out perfectly. Kelvin, not so much.

Will Cody Ford Be Our Starting RT Next Year?
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or a missed block by a TE on a qb sweep to the right in OT. Ford is fine at RT. If they find a FA who's better, great. -
I read an article where Lamar said his mom is NOT his agent. She's his manager. He represented himself because everything is pretty much slotted when it comes to rookie deals. Not too complicated. Almost 5 mil guaranteed and close to 10 mil total. If the 3% is on the guaranteed $, that's 150k saved. If it's on the 10 mil, that's close to 300k saved. Smart move. I think he'll hire an agent for the extension. More complicated.

Would you trade for Fournette?

Will Cody Ford Be Our Starting RT Next Year?
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe I'm dopey, but I was curious how you came to the conclusion that Risner, Taylor and Ramczyk played well out the gate compared to Ford. Again, did you watch them like I assume you watched Ford? I didn't catch your answer. Wasn't being a smart ass. Really curious. I doubt you watched them as much or with as critical of an eye to Ford to compare our pick to theirs. Conflate? Deflect? -

Is this based on reports you read or are you actually as invested in watching them like Ford? As a Bills fan it's easier to see Ford's mistakes vs. watching highlight film of players on other teams. Pretty sure if any of those 3 you mentioned were on our roster, we could point out issues that need to be worked on. IMO, Ford did well for a rookie. When a team scores a little as we did, it's easy to criticize mistakes because they stand out more, as each play and point we get is more crucial then, say KC. If he were to work out and excel at guard, they wouldn't need a pass from you or any of us. We're just fans. -

Last month I went to Best Buy's website to buy an Amazon firestick and on their website was an add for a jailbroken firestick 4k(not sold by Best Buy). $70 later, I now have Sunday Ticket and MLB Extra Inning for free. As long as my internet signal is strong, it's awesome. Watching the Yankees so far with no buffering. Comcast down here does not have the ACC network available. I am now watching FSU basketball for free too. Dump DirectTV.
