  1. Unlike Jeremy2020, I think you get me. Stay safe. I think he hurt his big toe too.
  2. I'm having as much fun, if not more than anyone here. Does weed count as a pain killer?
  3. I'm a Bills fan who's not butt hurt by Gilmore liking a tweet. It looks like only a few realize Gilmore didn't tweet this out. He simply liked it. It's not like he said he's better that White or something. I'm wearing thongs, by the way.
  4. Those 2 years coincided with the arrival of Rex. Ole Sexy Rexy took care of that. Our whole defense suffered. No one seemed to know what they were supposed to do under Rex and Rob.
  5. Super Bowl Champ, Defensive Player of the Year. Typical pitchfork guy on TBD.
  6. I'm gonna treat this thread as a test to see how sensitive folks are here. Gilmore liked a tweet that someone else put out there about a player who has yet to play a down for us and some panties are bunched up already. Wondering how many pages this garners. My guess is 15. Edit: If anyone replies to this like it's personal to them, please include whether you wear t-backs, thongs, etc.
  7. We haven't been a team that has had comfortable enough leads to run a 4 minute offense. Of course, I'm assuming that's what you mean. I know we picked up Diggs, but we need more than just that. If possible, I'd prefer a rb that offers more than tough yds. Give me a more explosive rb please. Which is why I wouldn't mind a rb in rd 2.

  9. To answer the 1st question: YES I saw a lot of improvement from yr 1 to yr 2. To answer the 2nd question: NO See above. I will say, this will be his 3rd training camp and same coaching staff. He has as much offensive talent around him as just about any team and a defense that will keep him in contention to win just about every game. The kid gloves are off now. We need to figure out if he's good before his rookie contract is up and he's set up right now to show it. When I say good, I mean $35 million per season good. It's really hard to give a QB more than the rookie contract to prove it. It costs too much.
  10. I made a single, valid point. I mean anyone can take it further. Great job.
  11. I hated losing Gilmore. TBD pitchfork guy.
  12. You can try to twist the narrative if you want to, but my point that we didn't need him to make the playoffs rings true. Like it or not. It's in the history books. The Bills were bad during Sammy's time here too. Your numbers aside, we made the playoffs the year after trading him. We didn't need him. We did well to trade him when we did and I'm pretty sure we used the picks from the trade to move up and get Josh.
  13. I actually liked us drafting Sammy, trade and all. Your comment on "typical" fans and high draft picks rings hollow here. He was drafted to be a #1 wr and it didn't work out. Sammy hasn't been a #1 in the last 4 yrs. It was the right move to trade him when we did. We used the draft capital from that trade to move up and draft Josh. As for the 2017 team, we made the playoffs without him. So, we trade him and make the playoffs without him. Sure, we really needed him.? Your "haters continue to hate" and "typical" comments are weak. We can have a different opinion without you acting like a baby. No?
  14. Agreed. Somehow I missed the amount of Tanny's contract.
  15. I would put Josh ahead of the following: Carr - Contract and inconsistent Big Ben - Contract and injury Goff - Contract and inconsistent Stafford - Contract and injury Baker - Had an off year and just not showing he's a leader That would put him at 17. I have him tied with Darnold.
  16. The operative word(s) there was Duke Williams. He had 10 of the attempts for 4 catches and a dropped td. He also showed he can't get open in the nfl. I think John Brown could have easily done what Sammy did with Kelcey, Hill and especially Mahomes, instead of Duke, Knox and Josh. I guess Sammy was saving himself for the playoff run. Smart of him and congrats. I still think $9 mil base is kinda high for Sammy. JMO.
  17. Oh, I understand the difference. "Not if they can’t be on the field and are nursing an injury on the sideline. That would be a waste of money" If your response to the statement above is :" You're missing my point. They don't need to be on the field to make an impact." trust me, I don't need or want your help. We have position coaches to help our TE's that won't cost cap space or spots on the roster. Hence, I replied with " I think it's called a position coach". Hard Knocks makes you an expert?!
  18. Yes, whatever rational I need to say I think $9 mil base seems like a lot for what he provided the past 2 regular seasons. That was my point. Let's not try to make this into more than what it is. I gave my opinion and yes, gave my rational. Don't like it, cool. I'm not going to drag this into argument territory. Stay safe.
  19. Big Game Sammy! You know if he put up those regular season numbers with us, he would be our pitchfork guy. You might even be leading the charge.
  20. Highlight films are not geared to show tough runs and getting a couple of tough yards. They show long gains, for the most part. Cam can do it all. Iv'e watched him his whole college career. With as bad as that line was, Cam had some insane stat of getting the ball with the defense already in the backfield. Anyway, checkout this write up from Ganggreen. https://www.ganggreennation.com/2020/3/4/21160690/2020-nfl-draft-prospect-rb-cam-akers
