  1. I know. I wrote that for MrSarcasm, who, for some reason chose Star and then not give a reason. Star is probably our most professional player and the one I would least worry about. Neither one of us has a valid reason to say anyone is coming back out of shape.
  2. On the Bills? Josh Allen.
  3. This is what I what basing my post on. Fitz played on a team who's front office was TRYING to tank/rebuild. They got rid of a ton of talent. This year, we are loaded. If we had Fitz on this team, he would easily get a ton of love as the best in the AFCE. Having said this, it looks like Miami is going to be a better team compared to last year. Fitz will surprise a lot of folks this year. I see them going 4-2 in the AFCE next year. They sweep the Jets and split with us and NE.
  4. I think after this season ends, I think it'll be: Fitz Allen with Darnold a close 3rd Whoever NE rolls out there. Unless they roll with Cam Newton of Winston. If this happens, Josh may end up 3rd or tied with Darnold for 4th.
  5. "Totally false" in your opinion. You have your take and I have mine. He would be more recognizable if he had the same career in NY. Would it help if I said IMO?
  6. If Rodgers had the career he's had so far with the Giants or Cowboys, he would have more name recognition than he has now. Hell, Eli Manning is talked about as a Hall of Fame QB! Not sure why you put Jalen and Aaaron in the same sentence. I'm sure the RG for the Giants during the SB years had more endorsements than ours. Again, not sure why you included a RG. None of what you wrote changes the fact that Tre would have better name recognition if he was an all pro cb in a bigger market. That was the premise of my 1st post. Adding a RG to your point or comparing Aaron Rodgers to Jalen to try and prove otherwise feels like a reach. I made a simple statement, Jalen isn't wrong to say Tre would have more name recognition in a bigger market.
  7. But if he likes a tweet that says he's doing better than when he was in Buffalo, look out. This board would lose it's collective mind.
  8. No, that's for fantasy football. This.
  9. Guess you weren't watching ESPN, FOX Sports, etc. when Jones had a really good game. He blew up on those sports shows. For 1 good game! So what nick name does Josh have that people are trying to trademark? Jalen is talking about a marquee player that would have more name recognition in a bigger market. If you're an all pro level RG and want more name recognition, yes, you move. As I mentioned to Dave McBride, you switch Tre for Gilmore and guess who wins DPLOY. Guess who is on ESPN and NFL Network more, Tre. Jalen is not wrong, like him or not.
  10. Yes, I think Tre would have more name recognition as a Giant than a Bill if he played like he did last year. I don't have any Cowboys names for you, cuz they aren't any good. Hell, we scored 26 point on them! Tre is damn good and would have made a name for himself in Dallas too. I could probably rattle off a few more teams where he would have more recognition than here. NE is just one example. We have a few people here who say Tre should be DPOTY over Gilmore. If these players switched teams last year and had the same season they just had, I think Tre wins DPOTY over Gilmore. Why? Because NE has more name recognition than Buffalo in the NFL and with NFL fans. But, back to my original post, Jalen isn't wrong in saying White would have more name recognition if he moved to a bigger market.
  11. Jalen isn't wrong here. Like it or not, Tre would be a household name if he played for the Giants. Daniel Jones became "Danny Dimes" after a couple of good games. I think he even trade marked the name. Edit: Jalen was right about getting noticed, not on getting paid. Tre will get paid here.
  12. Piggy banking on Yolo, Armando Salguero: Former NFL exec unloads on Tua: Uncovers previously unreported injury, failed physical https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/armando-salguero-former-nfl-exec-unloads-on-tua-uncovers-previously-unreported-injury-failed-physical/ar-BB12m0Df?li=BBnbfcL Here are the previously reported and undisputed injuries, according to Forbes: — Broken left index finger (March 2018; no games missed) — Sprained right knee (October 2018; no games missed) — Left high ankle sprain (December 2018; surgery; no games missed) — Right high ankle sprain (October 2019; surgery; 1 game missed) — Dislocated right hip with posterior acetabular wall fracture (November 2019; surgery; missed final 3.5 games) And this: “That’s got to get around that at least one team failed the physical on Tua others have to be concerned now as well.,” Lombardi said on his GM Shuffle podcast. “What they saw … is they saw the fact it’s not just his hip. It’s his ankle. It’s his wrist. “He broke his wrist the first day of spring ball one year. And then they fixed it, he came back, and he broke it again.” A wrist broken twice would be new information on the Tagovailoa injury history. “And he’s brittle,” Lombardi continued. “You can’t deny it. You can’t deny it.” “I’m saying they flunked him on not just the hip, but on a multitude of injuries. The risk far outweighs the reward.”
  13. The best training camp QB ever. Nate "the great" Peterman. I know he was only a 5th round pick, but I just couldn't help myself.
  14. A few years ago, our FF draft had 1/2 the folks drafting online. I drafted Alvin Kamara, only to have the guy before me call in to say he wanted Kamara but his 2 yr. old daughter grabbed the mouse and made a pick by mistake. Luckily we're all friends and let him change his pick. That would not fly on NFL draft day. NO KIDS ALLOWED IN THE MAN CAVE!
  15. You wrote in a post to me about folks having fun here. I'm having as much fun as anyone here. You also mentioned in a post how no one is bringing up his 1st year in NE. Here's why, it's like showing ONE clip of Brown beating him and saying he sucks. You're bringing up 1 season out of his career, a season where NE went 13-3 and went to the Super Bowl. Actually, this weed is pretty good. Never cared for opiates, down the toilet they went.
  16. You're right. I was of the assumption his agent would work out an injury settlement.
  17. Really??? So people complained last year and we go out and trade a 1st rounder for a Stefon Diggs and you are saying that is not enough? Any stats out there on how often we went with 4 WRs out on the field?(not DeMarco lining up wide lol) A teams 4th WR should not be drafted in the first 3 rounds. Period. It's like you read the 1st sentence and pounced on the keyboard. If an injury happens(especially to Diggs) we're right back where we started. You mention Mckendrick, Foster, Duke and Roberts. Again, we're right back to last years lineup and everyone agreed we needed help at WR. We should upgrade this roster anywhere we can. One more thing. You asked for people to shed some light on this matter. You should have added "You're all going to be wrong, though".
  18. I'm good, but, there's a difference between being upset and thinking it's stupid for people to claim he's soft, can't cover, it was the system, etc. Seems like some here are mad that he is a Superbowl Champ, Defensive player of the year and a Patriot. It's ok to admit we let a good one go. He's gone, put the pitchforks away. Save them for Ford, Star, Murphy, etc.
  19. For his own sake, he should retire. He's made a ton of $ and has a beautiful family. When healthy, a QB is one hit away from a devastating injury. When you are lucky to still have that leg... Channel your energy into something else.
  20. Bills fan all the way. Been a fan since around 1974. I scream at the tv as much as anybody when soft penalties are called when a QB is hit. No closet fan here. I have admitted on TBD more than once that I grew to appreciate their winning ways. Tom won a ton without much offensive talent for most of his 20 year career. Doesn't mean I like him. I'm as glad as anyone here NE seems to be on the outs as a dominating franchise. And yes, I'm a Gilmore fan, but as someone mentioned earlier, getting rid of him and Darby was the right thing to do. Unlike Rex, Mcdermott knew better than to try and fit a square peg into a round hole. Gilmore didn't fit what we do on defense. The only jerseys I own are a Bruce Smith jersey I bought back in his playing days and London Fletcher. As for the panties comment, in my 1st post I jokingly asked anyone with their panties in a bunch to at least let us know what kind they were. I even joked about my panties. I think everyone else here got the joke. Not everyone liked it, but got it. So far, only one person seemed offended. Hey, hopefully we can enjoy a great season by the Bills when all of this is over. In the meantime, stay safe and GO BILLS! I wear boxers, by the way.
  21. I'm going with Bill Bellichek knew how to use him better than Rex. Yet he made the pro bowl under Rex. Crazy, I know. People want to say it was "the system", maybe he helped make "the system" work. Crazy, I know. Brady is the GOAT, what's wrong with you? Dopey is not a good name, it's a GREAT name. You forgot to post what type of panties you're wearing.
