Is he old? Sure. Did he run out of gas? Could be seen as a valid argument. Having said that, I agree with you. With Singletary in there, opponents had to be leery of a screen pass, the rb going out on a pass route, or even lining up wide. With Gore in, it's just the opposite. Our play calling was limited with Gore in there. It was either a run or Gore stays in the backfield to pass block. A lot easier for defenses to play against. For those reasons, it was smart to move on.

Assemble the perfect team by position group

Quarterbacks: Chiefs (Hawks a close 2nd) Running Backs: Browns Offensive Line: Colts Wide Receivers: Toss up between Bucs and Browns. I think Brady gives the Bucs the edge. Tight Ends: Philadelphia Eagles. If Kroft is healthy, I think the Knox/Kroft combo will surprise(not saying we're in the conversation). Defensive Line: San Francisco 49ers Linebackers: Dallas Cowboys. I hesitate here. If when Lee gets hurt, they will drop. Cornerbacks: Toss up between Ravens and Pats Safeties: Bills If we go DB's as a group: Bills. -
Looks like Josh has game on and off the field...

She's pregnant. That means she's not only eating for 2, she's also thinking for 2. Give her a break! -
My thoughts, exactly.

1st you call it a bogus product, then you say it's ok to screw people if $ goes to charity!?!? Really?! Seems like your really hurting from the 20 years he dominated the Bills. Let it go. I did, 10 years ago.

someone replied to plenzmd1 that in some states open container could = dui. plenzmd1 replied that someone would have to show him this is the case. I'm just providing a link, never said it was automatic.

What Is an Open Container Law? An open container law makes it a criminal offense to have an open container of alcohol inside the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. Open container laws are an important tool in the fight against drunk driving. In many states, a violation of an open container is only an infraction with a fine. However, if the driver or a passenger is under the legal age of 21 and is caught with an open container of alcohol, the punishment can be much severe. In addition, many drivers could be charged with a DUI if the open container was with the driver at the time of driving. The basic rule is that there are laws that you cannot operate or drive a motor vehicle with an open alcoholic beverage even if the alcohol has not been consumed by the driver or passenger.

I never said they had anything to do with Josh in particular. I got what you were doing by posting the links. All O-lines are dealing with less practice, so I don't see how it affects us more than other teams. He has a hell of a team around him and he knows the offense like a book(he's well read). If your extreme scenario comes to fruition, we can talk. Until then, Josh has "no more excuses". I like to read, by the way. It's fundamental.
-
This is your way of showing you're well read and someone who says "no more excuses" isn't !? What a load of I have used the phrase before. I'd put $ down that you've used the phrase before. I too feel Josh has "no more excuses", even after reading those articles. So where does someone who read the articles you posted and still feel Allen has "no more excuses" fit? This ought to be good.

Duke Williams Fred Jackson Comparison
HerdMenatlity1 replied to akcash's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The ball hit him in the hands. The db didn't knock it out of his hands. He dropped it. Before the dbs hand got in there. Also, with a minute left in regulation, he drops another very important pass. Yep, right in his hands and contested. Hope he's beaten out by the rookies. They have higher ceilings than Duke. -
This. Can't believe he included a rookie RB in his "amazing" comment.

To me, a 2nd year RB with a rookie RB and TJ Yeldon is anything but set at RB. I'm not advocating bringing in Karlos, but we could still use a vet RB who isn't TJ Yeldon. Devonta Freeman, Carlos Hyde, Lamar Miller are still out there. Devin is still learning the ropes, there's a reason Antonio Williams went undrafted and Yeldon sat most of last year for a reason(he's not good and he's soft). I love the Moss pick, but again, he's a rookie. Hopefully we end up with: Devin Singletary Zack Moss Veteran

Edmonton Eskimos 2020 Game by Game predictions
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't click on the link, nice try. Having read the title of the thread, I was hoping Duke went back to Canada, where he can get a 30 yd running head start before the ball is snapped and maybe get a 1/2 step on the defender. Oh well. Okay, I lied. I clicked on the link. Damn you! ? -
I feel the same way, except the other way around. Last year was hard to judge Daboll with Allen as the QB. We should have beat NE in our 1st match up but Allen was horrible. Just before the 1st half of the Philly game, Allen fumbles and Philly scores with 25 second left in the half. Philly also scores a 2 pointer off that td. Allen gave them 8 points. Philly takes the momentum and scores to open the 3rd and it's over for us. If Allen hits on a couple of plays vs. Balt. we win. Daboll called 2 awesome plays early in that game, but Allen didn't execute. Allen had a 3 play meltdown late in the playoff game( I still laugh at the attempted lateral to Knox). Daboll called a winning game vs. the Texans. Player lack of execution was the problem.
