Unpopular takes on TBD
HerdMenatlity1 replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lee caught as many TD's as Duke Williams. Then again, Dion Dawkins caught that many. I don't believe either make the team this season. Would it be fair to keep Duke on the PS again? Should we release him so he can try out for other teams? Would anyone be interested in giving up a 5th or 6th for Lee? I would trade him in a heartbeat foe a pick. -
What Trade Was Better?

You wrote: "It comes off as a little disingenuous when you claim your primary goal is the preservation of black life, but you put nearly all your efforts into reducing one relatively small, but politically advantageous, cause of black deaths(BLM) while giving nary a thought to things that cause more black deaths by orders of magnitude."(Black on black killings) Talk about a straw man argument. You're the king of this. 1) The fact that you think blacks don't care about black on black violence and that should invalidate or minimize the BLM movement is total bull####. "Until black on black killings stop, it's wrong to protest police violence on blacks". Total bull####. I know you were talking about the BLM movement, but you decided to answer a question posed to someone else and included comments on both BLM and black on black killings in your reply to me. No? 2) Interesting. Are you acknowledging improvements need to be made? Never mind, I know the answer. 3) Not preaching, nor claiming I speak the truth. JMO. You should have left it to Beast to answer if he wanted to. You're still in the wrong lane, big man, except now your driving in the wrong direction too.

Is it just "a little disingenuous" or total BS to you? I get the feeling it's the latter. The fact that you think "nary a thought"(cute) is given to black on black killings, by blacks, shows your ignorance. I'm going to guess it's just not a part of your everyday life or you just don't pay attention to those who are grieving. Why would you? I've cried and seen far too many people(including family members ) crying and grieving the deaths of family members to gang violence. I have also seen and attended a few peace rallies after killings. It's on folks' minds more than you know. I left Buffalo due to gang violence back in the day. Not everyone is lucky enough to be able to leave. I'm trying not to take these ignorant comments personally and you have the right to your view, but I do think you should stay in your lane and speak to what you know. Trust me, this isn't it. As to the comment made by Beast, it's only Fake to folks who don't care or aren't affected. Edit: You didn't answer for him. You gave your views.

He answered the question how he saw best. It might seem to be an easy yes/no question, but there is no easy yes/no answer. Oh, and I don't think he gives a damn about you giving him full credit. -

I was thinking of posting that CK would be the perfect backup here and then I saw your post. It reinforced my thinking. Strong arm, athletic, good runner, accuracy issues. -

1) Fitz 2) Allen or Darnold: toss up 4) Stidham My thought process is that we have the better team in the division, by far. Having said this, I went with who I think would do more with this talent this year. As it stands this year, if Fitz had our talent around him, he would be a runaway 1st. Allen and Darnold have way higher ceilings than Fitz, but still have a ton of work/improvement to do. I didn't include Tua due to him being a rookie and recovering from an injury. I don't think he starts for them unless Fitz gets hurt. I don't think Tua will be as good as Miami thinks he will be. Again, this is based on this year's teams.

Calling someone you don't know a douche or his wife Jizz-elle is a pretty douche move. Taking this too personal. It's not like he whupped your ass for 20 years. -

Barring injury, I think the line will come back with everyone in the same spots as last year. Beane didn't move up to draft Ford to be our RT, only to move him after 1 season. I saw enough good things out of him to keep him there. To me, there was a give and take when it came to rotating Ford with Nsekhe. As a rookie, Ford was able to get his feet wet while rotating and that's a good thing, but there may have been times where it messed with his rhythm. In for a few plays, get your rhythm, come out and have to try and regain it. I hope this is over with and Ford gets the job full time. -
Flacco to the Jets on a one year deal...
HerdMenatlity1 replied to JoeF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Interesting. Not sure if you're poo-pooing what the Jets did to help their O-line or not, but this was Beane's plan for us last year. We signed a bunch of JAGS, overpaid for our center and drafted a tackle. -
