What Beane is doing is being one of the best GMs in the league. That’s what the eff he’s doing. How many straight division titles, 2nd in the league in scoring. We exceeded expectations last year by a mile and people here still B word and moan. Of course someone like you doesn’t get what he’s doing. He knows his job, better than anyone here. Way better. Bills turnovers created stats, according to ESPN: 2020: 26 takeaways tied for 3rd in the entire league. 2021: 30 takeaways tied for 3rd in the entire league. 2022: 27 takeaways tied for 3rd in the entire league. 2023: 30 takeaways tied for 2nd in the entire league. 2024: 31 takeaways tied for 2nd in the entire league, with 1 more game to play. Looks like a plan to me. Pretty consistent. By your logic, I guess we are just consistently lucky. I actually had a choice to sign a contract offer from another team. The Bears offered a substantial raise, so I accepted it. Money over wins. The Bills decided to match the offer. I only got a raise from Buffalo cuz of the Bears offer. Beane didn’t want to pay me my worth. A lot of people here thought I should sign here on the cheap cuz the Bills organization is better. He was pretty good last week vs the Lions. It looks different when you watch the game again, without the emotions involved. Haven’t watched this one against yet.
