Initially yes. Then is was all about stopping the pass because the Bills were up so up. They Oats were forced to pass. Frankly, they sucked at it and McD no longer had to worry about their running game. That just bolsters my theme. McD and frankly many other coaches have difficulty when offenses have dual threats.

That lack of duel threat has hurt the Bills in the past. Meaning they couldn't establish an effective running game to keep teams honest.

I can play the numbers game too. McD is 4-5 in the playoffs with an elite Allen for at least 3 years. Not a whole of playoff success under him. Let's get down to the gritty.

I have some numbers. Allen is 4-4 in the playoffs and last year, with a SB caliber team he pissed the bed vs Cincy. Thinking about sonograms celebrity status and baby mama drama. Not pretty for an elite qb. He also tried to give the Miami playoff game away last year. Somehow McDermott overcame Josh in that Miami game. In his 4 playoff losses, he’s had 1 good/great game. The KC game (13 seconds). Josh has been as much of the problem in the playoffs except for the KC game that everyone refers to. Aside from that KC game, Josh has not been elite in the playoffs. Fact.
    Gritty.

You see the problem is the Giants & Pats are two of the worst offenses and Tyrod & Mc are no yardstick to measure the defense imo.  Mayfield is a little better but TB is middle of the road at best and the Bills are home that week.

The offense I won't be surprised if Dorsey goes to the dinks and dunks and running and Bills control games they should blow-out opponents, but frankly it won't say a whole lot.

Of course if closer then need be, I too will worry.

    No win imo.😜

What did the Eagles do last year?????  They were expected to be good, however went out and dominated.  The Bills should do the same.

What a 💩 way to watch our Bills. Enjoy your bitching. I’m sure we’ll read about it.

I’m curious to know what you think about this thing:

in all their private thoughts, what do you think are the Josh’s and Stefon’s feelings about our real chance to compete for the SB after the London debacle, the way the offense performed and considering all the brutal injuries we suffered ?

Do you think they still are positive about the big picture and their chance to get there, that they still think we have all the weapons needed to reach that goal, or do they think that at the moment, considering everything, it could become another season headed nowhere, maybe a round or two in the playoffs at max ?

What will be their vision right now ? With all that is happening again to them this year, i wouldn’t blame them if thinking that this could be another season without having chance to win the SB.

I don’t think they’re bipolar like a lot of people on this site.
Some of you get too high on a win and then sound like you want to commit suicide after a loss.

Great points, but Torrence has made a huge impact.

Expending a 1st-round pick that's on pace for 400 yards and 0 TDs begs criticism though.

Seems the norm however, and for the life of me I have no idea why McD isn't taking more heat for it.

    He's the HEAD coach FFS.

Cuz most people don’t expect pro bowl seasons from rookies. Then there are people here who complain about a rookie not being all pro. Most of them wrote Bernard off after his rookie season. Give it a rest already.

No debating the stats look good.  But the inconsistent performances, Jets and Jags, cost us 2 wins.

Even with a depleted defense, no excuse to get "shut down" in the 1st half.

I'm a Dorsey supporter, but he has to devise better plans than what we saw yesterday.  Not saying execution was great, but this offense went back to lacking identity/rhythm and that to me is more on coaching.

The jets game was all on Allen. Dorsey called plays that left Josh with multiple open options. Josh decided not to utilize them.

This 100%.  Look no further than our own team.

Except Diggs and was not complaining about not getting the ball. Josh himself said it wasn’t football related. Diggs was upset because Josh wasn’t handling his notoriety well. Too much outside noise in Josh’s life.
Some of you can just gloss over the facts but Josh was being honest when he said it wasn’t football related. Josh has come in as a more mature person this season. He even said so. Love that Diggs took the bullets for Josh. Even after hearing it from Josh’s mouth, some still go after Diggs. 🤔

Davis has been impactful in just 3 of the 7 playoff games he played in and he was a big reason for their struggles down the stretch and the Cinci loss in the playoffs.

The fact that 2 of those 3 they won and the third was the 13 seconds narrow defeat only re-inforces the fact that they need that second receiving option to play well....so the defense can't just take away Diggs.......to advance.

    Unfortunately Gabe's brand is inconsistency.

Hard to win 3-4 playoff games in a row with inconsistency.

Still letting Josh off the hook for that Cincy loss, I see. Josh was off that game. Even on the sidelines he looked like he was somewhere else. Singing a lullaby for his new baby maybe? Diggs did well to give everyone an excuse for Josh that game. Gabe wasn’t even close to being a reason we lost that game. It was Josh “baby daddy “ Allen.

I think its pretty clear that Tua is talking specifically about some people on the team here.  He didn't say it was the team that needed it, but some people on the team.  Personally, I don't think this is getting talked about enough.  If Josh Allen had said this, there would be non stop coverage about a rift between him and Diggs again.

So who is he talking to or about...well, my personal theory is that I think at least one of those people might be Tyreek Hill:

    1. This week Hill was boasting about not studying any film, literally playing Madden the night before games is all the research he does to check their Madden ratings on awareness, speed, strength, etc to get a feel for the player.
    2. During the Broncos blow out, after Hill scored a TD off a catch and run, the TV cameras caught Tua telling Hill he ran the wrong route with Hill responding back who cares, we got the TD.

Hill has been very vocal about his own personal stats, his goals of 2000 yards, all offseason.  You don't hear much from him in terms of team goals, he is very self absorbed and really feels himself.  According to Hill himself, he isn't putting the preparation in week to week watching film despite teams preparing to slow him down every week.  Tua already called him out for not running the proper route last week in which he blew off since he still ran for the score.

Just feels like if that message was to be sent to anyone, Hill is probably one of the guys that needs to hear it.

Im sure the clowns with the emoticon shirts were on his mind too that gave Josh and the team bulletin board material.

Good on Tua. QBs should be the leaders on offense.

It’s amazing how much the board sways

We go from wanting to fire him to wondering if we’re gonna be able to keep them

The “fire someone now” crew is that small but vocal lynch mob that needs someone to complain about. I think they’re still drinking genesee. There is even a thread complaining that Kincaid hasn’t caught as many passes as Laporta so far.

If I'm Terry and Sean again fails to get this team to a SB, I'm keeping Beane and offering Ben Johnson whatever he wants.  I know the McDermott apologists will lose their mind, but I don't care.  I'm not waiting another 8-10 years for Sean to get that Andy Reid moment. The next 6 years is Josh's prime.  We need to go full throttle on building a dominant offense.  I just trust an offensive HC over a defensive one in this era.  13 seconds was and will always be egregious.

We don’t care that you don’t care. You’re not that important here.

I had to laugh last game. Gabe almost never hauls in contested pass. That game he caught a contested ball on the sidelines. I had to do a double take. Low and behold he was out of bounds.

I agree 100%. As a fan, I don't need stats to back up what my eyes see. I see an underwhelming WR2 who lacks consistency.

Do your eyes still see a crappy LB that wears #43? I don’t trust your eyes.
Maybe you should wear thicker glasses.

If they don’t need to rely on him, then why jump up in the first round to select him?   Good thing that Sherfield, Harty and Knox are lighting it up, while they bring Kincaid up to speed. /sarcasm off

Beane wanted him and felt Dallas would draft him ahead of us. News flash: most rookies aren't all pros their rookie year. You thought it was dumb to draft Bernard last year, didn't you? Did you also think it was dumb to move up to draft Allen, with the plan of having him sit his rookie year?

The lack of targets for Kincaid so far is as disappointing as bringing in a pass catching back last year(Hines), and then only using him on ST.  Once again, seems to be a major disconnect between coaches and GM, when it comes to building the roster.

…and no, Kincaid doesn’t always stay in to help Brown, so stop already with this nonsense.

We don't need to rely on a rookie TE and that's a good thing. We can bring him along at a nice pace. Too bad some of you want to blow your load in 2 minutes. Don't we have another 14 games to go?!?!?
