Yup, and  it took Houston  a little too long to realize what they have in Singletarry--their starter, a workhorse, one of the best running backs in the league at protecting the quarterback, a team player, never complaining, and someone who gets better and better the more you feed him the ball

    And he is always available.

Now, watch to see if Houston is smart enough to let Motor run and run, providing Houston with a missing element of the offense, just like he did so well with the Bills in the middle of the 2021 season.  The Bills became the best rushing team in the league during that stretch, propelling the entire offense, and Josh Allen, to their best play ever, championship caliber.

If Dorsey was not as incompetent as he is, he would have ridden Motor last year and not let him go this year.

Ridden him to what? We were 2nd in the league in scoring last season in points per game. Also, do you really think it was Dorsey who let him go? 😂😂

Here it is, my unqualified, unstudied, “gut feeling” revelation for the day:

So, if you don’t like his post, he’s a troll? You can easily just move on or create a “Josh excuses “ thread. Although there was one created after Josh single handily lost the Jets game.

I mean to me, and maybe it's the confirmation bias talking so take it fwiw, this sounds exactly like getting the narrative out there that the offense is the root cause of all the issues. Because it can't be the defense. Because McDermott's in charge of the defense.

Have you been watching these last few games? He's not wrong.

McCoach blathers on about "accountability" but that apparently is a hollow word when he looks in the mirror.

McCoach has thrown others under the bus to deflect from his own issues. I hope Terry makes McCoach accountable.

After all, we can say that firing McCoach was part of the "process."

    Karma is a B--ch.

McCoach!?!? Really!?! What are you, 8 years old?

I wish all this juvenile name calling would end already. Bunch of clowns.
    Sincerely,

I get all the of the frustration and wanting to move on from this coaching staff. I advocated for firing Dorsey, but would rather keep McDermott.

However, if you're not like me and want a new HC, I've got just the man for you:

    Mike Norvell

I've followed him since he started coaching at ASU (my alma mater). He made their offense legit. Then he went on to be the head coach of Memphis, turning them into a successful team and making the NFL think Paxton Lynch was draftable. Then he goes to FSU and turns them back into an undefeated championship contender.

He's an offensive coach, which a lot of Bills fans are clamoring for. He's signed with FSU through 2029, but we know how that goes ...

This is the HC you didn't know you wanted.

    As an FSU fan:

leave his name out your ?$@@& mouth!!

    He’s staying put.

Ok, I hear what your saying and that is a good idea.

But one thing I am so confused about is the turnovers. I get the sense these are bad. And when we have them, we lose more. I wonder if they have tried asking him to stop?

Has anybody asked somebody on the team if they maybe tried asking him to stop? Who is the asker I need to ask to do the asking of Josh to stop doing the thing?

    Diggs.

It's 10 games into 2023 and he's still gassing up McDermott for this great culture he's built.

Like nobody else in America could have done this with the Bills.

It did take like 20 years to get where we are. But, yeah, anyone can do this job.

I needed that man...and you're right. We need to all take a deep breath and re-evaluate the important things in life. Family, friends,  retirement,  golf, less stressing over this team.  We have no control.  Most players don't listen anyway,  they're after the bag.

AND... we have 7 games left in the season. We were 7-6 during the 2021 season, went on a run and had that epic playoff game vs. KC. Different circumstances, I know, but there's hope. I sat through consecutive 2-14 seasons and watched every game. Why would this version keep me away?

Turnovers cost games.  That is truth.  Your QB can’t be leading the league in turnovers.

We’ll see if Brady helps.  Every guy in the offense should look in the mirror and ask what they can do to be better.  And that includes Allen.

My fear is that no matter who the OC is Josh is not going to learn or accept the concepts.  We hired the guy he wanted in Dorsey and it failed.  If the same thing happens with the next guy when does it stop?

Amen. It would be nice if people acknowledge this fact. This has been an issue prior to Dorsey. I am not saying I wanted Dorsey to stay, but after a while we're gonna run out of OC's to blame. I want Josh to succeed here, but there are issues in his game. Take what the defense gives you. We don't need an entire game of heroics.

Yep, to many TO's by the offense but also not enough takeaways b the defense over the last few weeks.

Really?  So can you name a couple of those games?  I can think of a whole bunch of games Allen bailed out the D.

Without looking, last year's playoff win vs. Miami. People here saying we almost lost to Skyler Thompson and gave up 31 points to them. Watch the game over and tell me Josh didn't single handedly try and give that game away. The 1st int was just a horrible throw. Then to start the 2nd half he fumbles the ball away for a TD. Our defense dominated that game. Did you watch the Giants game a few weeks ago? The defense won that game for him. The defense tried to save the team vs. the Jets in the season opener, but Josh just wouldn't allow it. Josh had to win it for us...not. Just a few off the top of my head.

The Josh turnovers this season are insane. he's simply a turnover machine.   Obviously some of the stuff last night was not his fault but some were...and they are game changing.  I bet if they were cut in half over the last 6 games the Bills would have two more wins.  I would also include last nights horrendous 4th down throw from midfield as basically a turnover as well.

He's been doing this the past few years. Didn't matter who the OC was. The difference is that the defense wasn't banged up in past seasons and has saved Josh's ass more than people here either know or want to acknowledge.

What are you talking about, I think 5-5 and likely to miss the playoffs is plenty of reason for an emotional guy like Diggs to be upset...

I don't mean this as a good or bad thing, I simply mean if in the offseason you told me the bills would be in this position, with the offense sputtering, I would have all be guaranteed that Diggs would be a sideshow diva on the sideline and I'm surprised huge blowups have not been a regular occurrence this year.

Believe me or note, no big deal to me, but I am friendly with several current and former bills/NFL players. All of them say some version of Diggs is nice but unstable.

This shows that you, like others were wrong on your perception of Diggs. He was pissed at Josh last year for a particular reason. And it wasn't football related. People heard it straight from Josh's mouth and disregarded the statement to Josh being nice. I said it then, and I'll say it now, Josh saying it wasn't football related was saying too much to the media after that playoff loss to Cincy.

  13. Time to figure out what your priorities in life are. What makes you happy? If the Bill's success is it, time to give it some thought. You have no control over this franchise. Never did, never will. Never understood the "world is on fire" crowd here.

Sad, but true: someone called WGR a couple of weeks ago and said he's in his 80's and would love to see a SAB win before he dies to complete his life. I'm 56 yrs old and hope that when that time comes, I don't think to myself "they didn't win one for me".

Sounds like the OP could use a joke or two and that was a damn good one. Damn good.

    Here's a good one.

Three old ladies were sitting on a park bench when a flasher walked by them. The 1st old lady had a stroke, the 2nd old lady had a stroke, the 3rd old lady couldn't reach.

Diggs has been truly awesome for us. Like a talented big brother. He has CARED more about what happens to the team than anyone.

And so yeah, he’s been right all along. All the way back to the AFC championship game in his first season here.

He did what no one here has the balls to do. He called Allen out in the playoff  loss last year.  For the reasons everyone here wants to brush under the rug. Allen effed up and let fame get to his head. Josh wasn’t in game, mentally. Allen admitted it “wasn’t football related “. You all heard him say it. He blew our chance last year. Any word on who he’s dating now? Taylor Swift is already taken.

Well, since Miami Allen has played the worst football I've seen out of him since his rookie season.  I'm not sure what's going on, but I have to question the coaching staff.  Allen has performed as a top 5 QB the last several years, and there is no reason for him to fall off the cliff like he has.

Don’t forget the Jets game. Josh lost that game all by himself. That wasn’t on coaching. The plays were there for him. He’s been the leader in turnovers from the first game. You guys have to finally admit Josh is part of the problem.

Moving forward you have aging players on D and younger ones that they can’t get consistent play out of so what’s gonna happen? More picks for D and more money spent in FA.  Without Allen this team would be on the verge of tanking and completely rebuilding

In a QB driven league, it's amazing how you guys come up with this and treat it like an indictment on the GM. IMO, it's a BS line. KC without Mahomes, Ravens without Jackson, Cincy without Burrough or even with a limping Burrough, Philly without Hurts, NE without Brady, Miami without Tua. I could go on. We could be SF and have no QB, but that franchise is treated the golden standard here. 17 points scored in each of the last 3 games.
