  1. Returning to play college ball was never really an option, as per the CBA the Bengals would then still retain his rights next season. Sitting out the season and not playing in another professional league is the only way he could become eligible for the 2026 Draft. I wonder if it ever gets to the point where college recruits start declining interviews with the Bengals.
  2. A lot of people thought the Bills were "saving him for the playoffs" and a 3-sack game was imminent. OK all you need is a dollar and a dream.
  3. Wow I just noticed that, 10 out of their first 14 are at home. Literally a quarter of all home games this season are in the first month. That could work two ways...
  4. ...by the Bengals! Everything I've read says he's just working out at the A&M facilities, he's not doing anything with the team (although it makes for a great headline).
  5. He can return to camp at any time, and as long as he's not designated during roster cuts, he won't miss opening day.
  6. He had another year on his rookie deal, did this have to happen now? Are they projecting his numbers to go up with Fields under center? Retaining star players is fine, but the timing here is questionable.
  7. Living out of state, not attending games, and lecturing season ticket holders on what's best for them. Yeah, that sense of entitlement feels par for the course.
  8. Who gets custody of the pink cocaine?
  9. What the heck is up with this draft format? The production looks like something from the Covid years, I had to shut it off.
  10. I like Kesselring but that is a very light return for JJ. Hit a homerun with a 2nd round pick, develop him properly, watch him begin to thrive in the NHL, and then just before he's about to enter his prime - trade him. The Sabres truly are a farm team for the rest of the league.
  11. I just got enough courage to watch this. I think the most disappointing thing was learning that our new Senior Advisor to the GM, Jarmo Kekalainen, will still live in Columbus, OH and work remotely. When you consider our current Associate GM (Jason Karmanos) lives in Pittsburgh and works remotely, well, the optics look like crap. Kevyn Adams constantly preaches "We want people that want to be here" yet he can't even get his own high-level front office people inside the building.
  12. I would say he's more like the Dak Prescott of HCs. He can put up some great numbers that everyone will point too, but in the back of your mind there's always that thought of "Hmm not sure if this is the guy that can ever get it done." You could do better, but you also could do a LOT worse, so you hope the stars will align one year.
  13. 84 - 103, a .449 win rate.
  14. The best thing McD did for Allen was to hire DaBoll. That's where you can start and stop the accolades.
  15. yeah, a top-10 pick was a nobody.
  16. Hell freezes over, Sasha in the HOF!
  17. Based on recent history, that kid is 5 years and 8 days away from being traded and playing in the Cup finals.
  18. Florida is so well coached, positionally sound, and they play perfect structured hockey. The better team won, it's as simple as that.
  19. Voided guarantees, now there's an oxymoron. Just give him the standard rookie contract. There wasn't any issue last year with Mims at #18. This seems like a very, very petty battle to pick.
