This was a incredibly fortunate weekend with the top 4 games we needed all falling our way. The Bills now officially control their playoff chances. The Bills now have a 91% overall chance of making the playoffs. They have a 95% chance of making the playoffs even if they lose 1 game. Home field advantage is the only stat that took a hit, as winning out now only gives them an 63% chance of hosting a playoff game.

Winning out gives them an 80% chance of hosting a playoff game. A Pittsburg win increases their odds 5.7% A Cleveland win increases their odds 4.4% An Atlanta win increases their odds 4.3% A Tampa win increases their odds 3.9% Everyone saying they need to win out and that the Miami game is the most important this weekend is wrong. A Dallas win increases their chances only 2.0% (however it does put the division title within reach).

Of course you only get a few simulations generated too, where this site will run billions. If you don't pick any other games, the NYT uses an ELO rating for teams similar to chess ratings, and SportsClubStats takes into account rudimentary things like team record and home field advantage. Neither are perfect of course. That site will also give weekly rooting interests with percentage changes for wins/losses/ties for every game.
