  1. These clubs seats are not meant for a person with an average salary that would need a 20-year loan (and certainly not an 11-year old as mentioned above). They are catered to companies and clientele that have 5-figure spending money (not savings) on hand. The high-end club PSLs will almost assuredly lose value. Could you imagine the average person taking out a 20-year loan and now the year is 2036, he still owes $10K+ and meanwhile similar PSLs to his are now selling on the market for $8K? It would be akin to being underwater on a mortgage.
  2. Clearly tied to on-field performance. If you want to get the best value, wait to buy until Josh retires.
  3. He fits the center fielder mold they were looking for. Blackmon is wishful thinking now.
  4. Great info! So East & West clubs carry a $20K PSL and go about $650 a ticket, and Field clubs carry a $15K PSL and are about $550 a ticket. I think that's in the ballpark of what many were thinking for the expensive club seats.
  5. Oversee the business side only. Sabres really need a President IMO.
  6. Yikes 3. Casey Toohill, EDGE It is going to be extremely difficult for any team to replace both Chase Young and Montez Sweat immediately after trading them. Casey Toohill has stepped into a starting role since their departures, and he's hardly been an ideal replacement. If you asked Pro Football Focus, Toohill is ranked 97th out of 109 possible players at his position around the NFL. That's ... in a word ... bad. Toohill is one of the biggest reasons this Washington defense is in the bottom half of the league against the run. He has been one of the worst run defenders on this unit, by far. On a positive note, Toohill does have 5.0 sacks on the season. But, that is also kind of a fluky number. Toohill has been far from consistent in garnering pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Consider those sacks more so of a few "flash in the pan" type moments. They're more of an anomaly than they are the norm. Washington has to overhaul the edge position, obviously, and Toohill likely won't make it back onto this roster after nearly four seasons here.
  7. This thread is going to be verrrry interesting tomorrow.
  8. Houston Falcons is trending rn
  9. Easy way to pay for those PSL's. Also, there's no better way to show how right you were than flashing a huge winning bet slip! Rates are good on 2nd mortgages right now. Let's make this thread interesting.
  10. Reading this thread it's apparent that many have never seen Samuel play. A lot of people are taking his stats and measurables and trying to contort them into a version of himself that they want him to be, rather than what he is - a slot and Z receiver that will also take snaps out of the backfield. He is not a Davis replacement and he is not a boundary receiver. There is still a big hole at the X receiver position that is going to have to be filled with a high draft pick.
  11. C'mon man. Leave the BS on Twitter.
  12. At the time I tried explaining why that extension was unnecessary and probably not a good idea and man, this place was not having it lol. And then you have to account for the cost of a new #1 WR, which doesn't seem possible at this time.
  13. Well we need rotational guys and he shouldn't cost that much. IIRC he flipped out and wanted to be released after they fired Staley so they cut him.
  14. "ThAt'S nOt CrYpTiC EnOuGh"
  15. Would be funny if they sneak into the playoffs as the #8 seed, play Florida in the first round and knock out Okposo 😂😂
  16. Ok some of you have lost your minds 😂
  17. Most people are still Googling him.
  18. Decent signing, more weapons for Josh is always good. Still need to target a WR at 28 IMO.
  19. This is pretty much spot-on. The fans that scream "ALL IN!!!!" every year don't know what that phrase means.
  20. I really think Armstead is best suited as a 5-technique in a 3-4.
  21. Oh, I wouldn't be so certain. It takes a lot of wishful thinking to call center a position of strength right now. If Beane and his scouts all think there's a stud C out there in the 2nd round that can be Josh's "Kent Hull" for the next decade, I bet they would pull the trigger. There's past precedent that they value the position too when they made Morse the highest paid C in the league.
  22. You can only restructure once per season, and Josh will certainly get restructured again next year. It shouldn't have to be explained that restructuring every player on the roster for the maximum amount isn't financially prudent, and can quickly create problems in the future. Just because Beane chose a measured response does not indicate that "Pegula is cheap."
  23. Don't get us started on Creed Humphrey.
  24. Exactly. For 6+ months posters with even a rudimentary understanding of the cap have been saying we aren't going to be big spenders in FA. There are pinned threads explaining the cap layouts and why we aren't going to be big spenders in FA. The GM has said we aren't going to be big spenders in FA. But now, all of a sudden, it must be the owner? Everything has to be a conspiracy. The season isn't won or lost in free agency. Have you learned nothing from Rex Ryan?
  25. What a load of BS. Why even post an account with 49 followers? You can just quote someone from page 3 of this thread who would likely have more credibility.
