  1. We still have no updates on what Mario ate for lunch today.
  2. Fire up the Thigpen.
  3. It's bad enough I have to cringe watching the Bills play on Sunday, now I have to cringe watching the press conferences as well? In training camp?
  4. Correct. And when I check the News for your article, I still can't find it. It's buried somewhere under a small "view more" link while the main headlines are "Marrone Upset With Media" and "Marios Foot OK." And that is the whole damn point. Training camp should be the headline, not this tabloid axe-to-grind garbage about reporters clashing with the coach. Are you still not getting this?
  5. Yeah, and the ESPN article was posted at 1:46PM, use your keen deductive skills to determine when I read it. Sounds like I hit a nerve and you work for the News in some capacity, or just missed the point. In case you did miss the point, I'll spell it out - our local sports reporting is one small notch above the British tabloids. When I click on the Sports page right now, I'm greeted with a huge headline that says Mario's foot is ok. In this article Tim Graham asks the question, "So what was the big deal?" That's hysterical Tim. Make a story out of nothing, blow it wayyyyy out of proportion, then shrug your shoulders and ask your audience "Hey, why all the drama?" I'm not a journalist, but isn't there some rule about not becoming the story or something like that? Or maybe I got it confused with the rule about not asking the same question five times and expecting a different answer?
  6. Wasn't there when I read the first article. Perhaps learning how to read the time on a blog before bitching about what's there would be in order.
  7. Take a look at this article: Buffalo Bills Practice Report From it I learned: Hariston is still on the PUP list but rehabbing with the team on the sidelines Keith Pough left practice with an injury but walked off on his own power Kyle Williams and Chandler were held out of full-team work Manuel connected on a bomb to Da'Rick Rogers (would love to know more about Rogers and the reps he's getting) There were fights at practice today including our rookie WR Woods Colin Brown seems to be leading contender for the LG position at this time (would love to know more though) Troupe struggled and was flagged twice Kicking competition heating up (would love to know Marrone's thoughts on carrying 2 kickers. God I hope not) Fred Jackson looked strong showing no signs of last years injury Kolb had a bad day but played against the 1st team defense I learned all that in a nice concise article written by a Patriots reporter. Meanwhile, the local gang is holed up in the bushes outside Mario Williams' house.
  8. MMDT joined TSW Sept 2012. If you think about it, we could ban him and probably not lose much at this point. I mean, if it isn't working out after a year, it's probably best that we cut our losses guys. Step back and take a look at all the depth we have at "Posters who start threads and have no idea what they are talking about." We are absolutely stocked there. OK, we are a little light on trolls, but if you look at the way modern forums are run, I think you'll find that the trolling era is passing by. If we do ban him, we should at least have the courtesy to do it ASAP so he can get picked up by another forum this season.
  9. You remember that thread too? *cough*
  10. I would like to take this time to nominate this for "Worst TSW Thread of the 2013 Offseason"
  11. Ahhh, I have such fond memories of the original Mark Anderson signing thread. Specifically when I said we overpaid for an overrated situational pass rusher, and half the board freaked on me. Suck it, Kook-Aid drinkers Hairston on PUP is a concern.
  12. I guess the past 17 years have also been one parting gift as well. Obviously Allen Craig didn't get the memo, as he scorched a ball into LF.
  13. Buffalo Bill's Marcell Dareus fighting for starting job
  14. Bruce Smith at Maxine's.
  15. Coach if I was too harsh I apologize. I saw this thread and thought "No QCity, noononono do NOT click on this thread. No don't do it. Run far away, do not click the mouse button." It's like a car accident, you know better than to look and want to avert your eyes but you have to take a peek.
  16. That's a good question, I'd love to know the answer myself. I don't know, maybe you're just a naturally miserable person? You seem to like the phrase (or a variation) "like they say, there's always something with this guy." Let's be clear, there is no "they." You, Coach Tuesday, are "they." So please, enlighten us all, where does this deep-seated hated of Mario come from? When exactly did he break your heart? Was it the Jets game?
  17. I see less of an opinion and more of an agenda.
  18. Did Mario run over your dog?
  19. XBone's Family Plan revealed http://pastebin.com/TE1MWES2 Yeah, it was a BS system that let you share a 15-45 minute demo of a game with a friend one time. Then that oh-so-lucky friend could make a decision if they wanted to purchase it for full price. You were never going to be able to give away 10 free copies of your game to your family members, that's a pipe dream. Next-Gen!!
  20. The entire point I was making was directed at this upcoming generation of video game consoles. If you want, I can type out a laundry list of evil things Microsoft has done over the last 3 decades. But there's no need for that because it's clearly evident which console manufacturer has listened to the masses this time around. In 7 years I have full faith that Sony will screw something up and open the door for someone else. That's hardly a definitive reply from Major Nelson. Do you think when you are old and grey you will be able to dust off your XBone and show your grandchildren what games were like in 2013? I think it would be naive to believe that. You will be lucky if this thing works in 2023. I agree that there's a lot of conflicting info out there, but ask yourself this - why doesn't Microsoft simply clear up the misinformation with a simple official statement on their website? They can't, because most of this stuff is true - they need some wiggle room to backtrack.
  21. It's not about which console is "winning", it's about a company that is listening to what its customers want, and another company that is trying to tell customers what they want. This is what happens when you pull the crap that Microsoft is trying to pull. And yeah, of course they can modify the firmware to stop the daily check after say, 10 years or so. Where did they say they are ever going to do that? Ask the Halo 2 players about Microsoft servers lol. The XBone will sell units I'm sure, there's an entire legion of 13 year-olds that will be screaming for Call Of Duty this Christmas. Microsoft knows they could build a system that literally kicks you in the nuts every morning and they still would sell units.
  22. There is no DRM on the PS4, it's all in the hands of publishers, exactly the same as it is now on the PS3 and XBox 360 (and every console before). And after the recent backlash we've seen, I highly doubt any company will dare try it (well OK, I'm sure EA will at some point lol).
