He would never start over Williams based on what we just paid for him, but I wouldn't be surprised if their difference in play is negligible.

Any talk of him getting cut is complete nonsense. Anyhow, I watched the Sugar Bowl with my friend and I remember a point where I asked him "Have you ever seen a worse performance by a O-lineman in a bowl game?" His response was - "I can't believe this guy wants to declare this year, where does he think he'll get taken?" We both came to the conclusion that some hyper-aggressive agent probably got in his ear and convinced him that the money was there now.

Exactly. It also stems from our Super Bowl teams in the 90's that didn't play well in the preseason. The starters always played well for those teams however, they just played very, very little. Do people think EJ is going to suddenly become accurate when the real season starts?

That article was also written 5 months before the season, it's a stretch for them - but not inconceivable, to hit that 40K number they reported. Either way we are still at the bottom of the league in season ticket sales, regardless of what the Fish are selling.

Looks like they were still over 40K, states it was their lowest total in 3 decades. I read last month that they were over 48K at the start of July this year, so I guess you could lump us in with them. Still, not the greatest company to be keeping.

We're typically at the bottom of the league every year next to Tampa and Jacksonville. Jax was up to 45,000 about 3 weeks ago, so I guess we might be even with them. Our other lovable loser friends on the lake, the Browns, should be hitting their cap of 64,000 any day now.
