  1. RT @dan_bernstein: Source: #Bears actively shopping Cutler, would move him for "reasonable return." Offers to this point have underwhelmed
  2. I guess he really doesn't know what a hometown discount is... because he just gave us one.
  3. So rather than kick Borland outside (if they even cut Brooks), lets trade our QB for a position that's still stacked. Right.
  4. 1) He's not worth a 1st especially with that outrageous contract. 2) They already have the best LB corp in the league
  5. The Jets have like $50M in cap space. Oh God Yeah I've read similar things like that. Nothing really major, just small things that when collectively put together indicate he's an ass. The twitter fights with the fans would trump Donte's for sure.
  6. Yeah right. He's a threat to score with his legs from anywhere on the field. EJ is a threat to run out of bounds (if he can get there). I hate Kaepernick because I think he's a D-bag, but I would warm up to him real fast. Real fast.
  7. ^ this. Watch the guaranteed, not the yearly average.
  8. Catalana is reading this thread.
  9. The real dagger will be when he signs for cheap with the Pats. Bellchick loves him.
  10. Going from ~$1M gtd to ~$26M gtd I would assume he's going to be sleeping in the OBD parking lot outside the front door until 11AM Tuesday.
  11. Can you fault anyone for missing that?
  12. No, I did not. There are always other factors such as injuries. We essentially guaranteed his last contract for ~$5M cap relief this year. Again, he really didn't have any bargaining chips at the table. Future flexibility in regards to his contract.
  13. We freed up $4.75M this year but lost a TON of flexibility. We're taking a cap increase of about $1.5M over the next 2 years, then eating another $5.2M the last 2 years even if he is gone. He's here for 3 years no matter what, possibly 4, no way in hell 5. We gave up way too much for a player still under contract with virtually no guaranteed money left.
  14. Seriously Raiders? $60M in cap space? They deserve to be in last place for the next decade.
  15. Kinda feel bad for the guy, but we need to start Hackett in both games against Arizona.
  16. Accidental pun or ominous prediction? LOOK: Matt Hackett's new goalie mask honors Sabres, Bills legends
  17. It was nice to the kid Varone score with hustle and setup the 2nd goal, even if that goalie should had saved them. For all the roaming around he does, Lindback played very good. Almost too good -- that 1st goal he allowed was a total fluke deflection off Bogo. For a team that spends the whole game in their own end, they sure do keep it close somehow. They shouldn't have much left in the tank for tomorrow night.
  18. Agreed. Megalomaniac is the perfect description for Marrone.
  19. I would assume it's situational, because it certainly wasn't the goal that game. I was bored and dug up the play-by-play, check it out. Harvin had trouble getting to the 15 yard line, and got stuffed on the 8 (!) once. Gave 'em a mercy touchback at the end of the game when we were up 38-3 lol.
  20. Back-to-back road games! A loss tonight sets us up for a 0-point weekend!
  21. He put his San Jose mansion up for sale 12 days ago. Coincidence?
  22. Bunch of people on Twitter saying Vernon Davis just arrived at the B-Lo airport. I'm not going to link them because they aren't really authoritative. Just thought I'd mention it because airport rumors are the best.
  23. Whoa, you were serious with that Mike Williams comment?? I must now edit my post and remove the praise emoticon ( ) and replace it with mocking laughter ( )
  24. I can't believe the Colts with over $40M+ in cap space and an elite QB wouldn't target him.
