    Big games for sure, but our season isn't going to be over in December. It's nice to see the team come out of the gates strong in the 1st period, maybe we'll see them play a 60 minute game. And Lehner stopped a breakaway, so that was mildly shocking.

    No, the idea that Carroll is the difference between an average tackling team and the best tackling team in the league is 100% correct.

    Pete Carroll had a massive impact on his defense's tackling ability. He brought in specialists to teach rugby-style tackling and now it is suffocating for teams to play against that D.

    This was a five game stretch where they played poor teams (Isles, Panthers, 'Canes) and were supposed to take a step as a rebuilding team. They went 1-2-2 and managed 4 points out of 10. No injury excuses now. To say this was a disappointment is an understatement. They look like a team that just doesn't care. I had to turn that game off after the 2nd period.

    Fans are typically myopic and the poll is simply a reflection of last week's win. If they beat Miami, 75% will want to keep Rex. If they lose to Miami 75% will want him gone.

    Pittsburgh game was arguably the worst game of his career. He put up a 100.1 rating.
