  1. No issues with the date, but put them on network TV.
  2. *yawn* lamest April 1st post eva
  3. I think those graphics greatly overexaggerate what should be minor differences. Almost the entire state of Mississippi is green with 15.67% of it's pop tagged as excessive drinkers. There's no green at all in Illinois with 17.54% excessively drinking. That's a 1.87% difference - which is probably not even within their sampling error, however the color-coding makes them look worlds apart.
  4. It's a serious problem. If they go into next year with UPL/Levi in net they're likely flushing another season down the drain. How does Adams move away from UPL after giving him a 5yr contract? Solution seems to be fire Adams and let a new GM make that call.
  5. You are absolutely correct, the AAV is irrelevant. Those arguing about $12M, $13M, $15M AAV etc aren't completely understanding the situation. Second contracts given to RBs are judged by term AKA gtd money more so than any other position.
  6. The upper deck has more seats than the old stadium - it spans the entire circumference save for 1 endzone where a scoreboard will go. As I said earlier the opposing side (leeward) has ~30 rows. Almost every question and concern that you've brought up could be answered if you simply knew how to search for video. There are 4-5 people that have been flying a drone over the construction site every week for the past year. This isn't some mystery. It's clear the overhang covers the 400 seats.
  7. Don't sleep on his 40 time of 5.93. They timed it with a sundial.
  8. He could be our next Michael Jasper. IYKYK
  9. I think that's going to be the "sweet spot" on pricing for many. I didn't make the Tottenham trip, but I had friends sit high up and they said the view was fantastic. Will be interesting to to see the resell pricing when the weather gets bad at the end of the year.
  10. That is an insane amount of money for a 31-yr old who has lost a step and is coming off an ACL tear. $26M GTD?? Watching the Pats turn into the Jets right before our eyes is pretty amazing.
  11. Definitely a case where both things are true, because our defensive play is lousy. It just feels like we are 13 years from the Ryan Miller days and still trying to fix the goaltender issue.
  12. He's not the same coach from 20 years ago, but 2 years ago he did lead the Devils to a franchise record in points (112) with a relatively young roster, so I wouldn't say the game has passed him by. Of course he got canned the next year when his goaltending cratered, but we have a similar problem here: Reimer - 37yr old journeyman backup goaltender thinking retirement 2.72 GA and .904 SV% UPL - our starter just signed for 5yrs $24M has a 3.16 GA and .888 SV% It's crazy how bad UPL regressed this year the minute he gets his contract. I think a lot of fans want the problem to be the coach because it's the easiest fix, right? Just get the right coach and all is well. But that's not the case here. There are serious problems with the way this roster is constructed.
  13. And that's the red flag that everyone is going to ignore. They still have the 3rd highest amount of cap space left, a whopping $42M+ and could have easily re-signed him. The LAC front office knows Palmer better than anyone else in the league by far - he's been in their locker room for 4 years. They decided years ago that he wasn't the answer by spending high picks on Johnston and McConkey, and had no problem letting him walk. For all the talk about his separation his production simply isn't there.
