Although I question calling him an "NFL Legend".

I respectfully disagree Mark.  I’ve always thought of him as an NFL legend.  Fantastic production throughout his entire career and a key piece to that 2000 Ravens Defense.  I think his sideline reporting put him over the top and made him a national figure to all NFL fans.

While reading the posts, there has a been healthy respect for privacy and also some speculation based poster's experiences. I'll add my 2 cents... which has nothing to do with Kim Pegula's situation, because I don't know what she may be suffering from. I think that maybe what I have gone through, may cause one to consider that maybe he/she may see a doctor. My PCP 4 years ago scheduled me for a colonoscopy given I was in my 50's... I was asked before the procedure if cancer was prevalent in my family. I replied "No, we're a heart attack/stroke family. Everything went fine with colonoscopy, but the doctor recommended I see a cardiologist given my statement and age. Saw the cardiologist... told her I had heart murmur and faulty t-wave (since birth). She performed a checkup and an EKG which detected a problem. What happened next was I had bilateral occlusion and stenosis of the left carotid arteries. I had to have an exploratory brain surgery to check for tumors and aneurysms. The 2nd surgery placed a stent in my external carotid artery but the internal is inoperable. I suffered nerve damage to larynx on the 2nd procedure which paralyzed a vocal cord, so I have difficulty talking. The lesson that maybe someone would take from this? I see a doctor, whether I like her scheduling me for procedures because of my age and cringe at... I go through them... I before my surgeries suffered terrible onset headaches on the left side of my head, they went away quickly and I paid no attention to them, they were TIA's (mini strokes)... I had ringing in my left ear, assumed it was concerts and work related. I have neither now... I'm here now because a doctor who I see set the ball rolling that may have saved my life... If you know someone adverse to seeing a doctor, explain to the person that visit may keep you around...

Thanks for this.  Your post just made me reschedule that appointment with the cardiologist that I had canceled last week.

  3. There is no way that the Head Ball Coach gets fired anytime soon!

Personally, I think there is truth in the sentiment that our D fails us against offensively capable teams in tight contests.  There is a capability gap that exists somewhere between the defensive concept that we play and quality of athletes that we have to make negative plays like sacks, tackles for loss, and general chaos.  I don’t know what the answer is but they need to figure it out if they want to get to and win a Super Bowl.

The last thing I’ll say is that we are all assuming that everything will be the same on offense since we have Josh.  That’s a nice thought, but I personally fear the transition to a new OC.  Things are going to change and it might not be what you think it is.  We’re assuming!

I will be curious to see the demeanor of this team (esp the offense) on the field. In the last AFCCG, they just seemed shell shocked. Even in week 5, you could tell the offense was frazzled— they hit on some big plays, but just didn’t seem to be in sync.

i am hoping that they will have that calm and surgical way about them this week.

Same here.  I want them to be all business!  No excuses, no slow starts, no “we’ll just turn it on”.  Just straight up butt whooping time.

So, will Daboll have them come out throwing on every down again until McD sets him straight?

In hindsight, I think they should’ve used the money they spent on Sanders and Breida to bring Roberts back as the returner.

I was thinking the same thing about Roberts.  Knowing what we know now, money we’ll spent.
