Completely agree. My other thought on this is why give the Colts a look at Allen? The Colts are a potential playoff game for the Bills this year. I’d rather risk showing Allen versus Denver is PreSeason Week 2 than giving the Colts anything.

Donald will wreck us if our O-line isn’t ready to go week 1. Our guard situation concerns me.

I’ll be ecstatic if Ken Dorsey can attain Dabol’s production as OC. The new OC is my biggest question mark for the season. I fear that a YAC discussion is a bit premature at this point.

I respectfully disagree Mark. I’ve always thought of him as an NFL legend. Fantastic production throughout his entire career and a key piece to that 2000 Ravens Defense. I think his sideline reporting put him over the top and made him a national figure to all NFL fans.

Cool tidbits on the in-person team facility visits. Beane gets a summary from the pro scout assigned to escort the player and includes comments from the driver, equipment managers, athletic trainers etc. He said that sometimes the player may rub the lower echelon people the wrong way and that will drop them down the board.

There is no way that the Head Ball Coach gets fired anytime soon! Personally, I think there is truth in the sentiment that our D fails us against offensively capable teams in tight contests. There is a capability gap that exists somewhere between the defensive concept that we play and quality of athletes that we have to make negative plays like sacks, tackles for loss, and general chaos. I don’t know what the answer is but they need to figure it out if they want to get to and win a Super Bowl. The last thing I’ll say is that we are all assuming that everything will be the same on offense since we have Josh. That’s a nice thought, but I personally fear the transition to a new OC. Things are going to change and it might not be what you think it is. We’re assuming!

I believe the understated impact of the Jordan and Shaw signings is the swagger and nastiness that they bring. We were soft when they left.

I don’t think MNF should be on a cable network. Broadcast on ABC if you have the rights to broadcast on ESPN. Not a fan.

I like Shaw for his ability to set the edge. Especially when you play run-heavy teams like the Ravens.
