    I wonder what the timing of COVID tests will be for the final injury reports submitted by clubs before game days? There is a huge risk here for the gambling community as well as the potential for a nefarious influence in a testing lab. I know this is a training camp thread but does anybody know how this would roll out on a game day?

    I like the concept of a separate thread per day of training camp. Please let this trend continue! It just makes it easier to follow vice digging through a “Training Camp Thread” that you have to think to yourself “Day 4 should start on page 12!”

    I just don’t see Brian Daboll as a head coach. For me, it’s not so much the stats, potential success, or even the scheming, the man just doesn’t display the leadership qualities to lift an organization up. I think he may plateau at the coordinator level, with or without, a top 10 offense this year. He just doesn’t pass the eyeball test.

    I’ve always viewed the 2nd half defensive collapse against the Texans as an inability to adjust to a “running” Deshaun Watson. The first half of the game we seemed to contain him and the Texans were content to keep him in the pocket. The second half was a different story where he was running more and breaking out of the pocket.

    My understanding is that Twitter added a voice option to make posts now in conjunction with the standard typing. The story here is that the Steelers chose to post the song Renegade as their first “voice” tweet this week. In response, people kept bringing up the Bills game. While the actual event happened last football season the voice tweet brought it back up.

    I think the decision was directly tied to our multi-million dollar training facility to help the players recover and receive treatment. Ten to 14 days without access to your state of the art treatment facilities could put you in a huge hole for the rest of the season. Makes perfect sense to me.

    To be fair to Belichick, he evaluated the situation correctly as a coach and GM. As for Jimmy G., I think Shanahan’s play action system really suits him and his talents nicely. That run game design was a thing of beauty against Pettine’s leaky run D.

    In his Monday presser he kept stressing that this was a young team. Coach probably thinks that they need to play in order to stay in rhythm.
