Was anyone else surprised by Nick Saban’s comments after the National Championship game in regards to offenses win championships? I think it’s germane to the conversation.

My two cents: Lamar is like Deshaun in last years playoff game. We had it under control until Deshaun started running on broken plays. I’m confident that we have the right game plan. I’m not confident in our ability to defensively execute for 4 quarters.

Not arguing the OP’s point. This Monday Night will go a long way in showing if Edmunds can shed and make tackles consistently.

Wow, it'd be kind of weird if we played a traditional 4-3 with 3 linebackers actually on the field. I hope Edmunds is able to effectively shed blocks this week as the zone blocking scheme that the 49ers employ could eat our lunch. Gap integrity will be the key to stopping this run game in my opinion. Guys need to win their one on ones. Go Bills!

@Stank_Nasty Living in PA and received the Browns game from my wonderful CBS affiliate. Browns running game is no joke. Baker is not playing consistently though and missed several wide open receivers. As for their D, Mike Glennon of the Jags, last start in 2017 or so, was dropping dimes on them all over the field.
