  1. I love Baldy! “Cody Ford hasn’t been that happy since he won the BIG12 championship....”. My vote is the Arizona comeback drive. Not only do I think that was the best drive of the season but the resulting Hail Murray pissed this team off and focused them on the rest of the season.
  2. I may have my head in the sand but I’m absolutely shocked that the first several pages of all of the board’s OTA press conference threads consist of COVID 19 vax discussions. I’m really surprised at the lack of football discussion. Please don’t interpret my post as a shot towards the posters or the discussion....I’m just honestly surprised that the vax is the dominant subject.
  3. Still can’t believe the Chargers moved to LA. They’ll always be the San Diego Super Chargers to me!
  4. Serious question: is Dak able to play yet? Will he be under center for this game?
  5. https://www.buffalobills.com/schedule/ @YoloinOhio I think there are 3. First one is in Detroit on 8/13. Let me know if I missed something.
  6. The Falcon’s one was funny. Can’t believe they highlighted Josh that much.
  7. The 17 game schedule and associated W/L record just doesn’t feel right. Don’t think I’ll ever get used to it.
  8. It was weird...it's listed as an option on back to back dates, Saturday, December 18th and Sunday, December 19th, and with no time listed.

  10. I think ESPN will become an interesting business school case. Was it Disney? Did they leave their core competency? Did they forget how they add value to the marketplace? What was the voice of the customer and did they listen? Did they overpay for content and talent? Sad to see but the reality of the marketplace.
  11. Thanks Yolo! Also, I want you to know that I personally appreciate everything you do for this board. Thank you!
  12. So, does anyone know if the Bills will even attempt to go to SJF this year? From everything I’m reading in this thread, it seems like no one really knows for sure....
  13. We also lost Smoke as well. I agree that it’s not a good reason to emphasize the run game more so than the passing game. I just hope our wideouts make it through this season unscathed. Maybe a better argument for increased tight end production.
  14. Honestly, I’m more worried than ever about our guys having enough gas in the tank for another deep playoff run. Our receivers were the walking wounded at the end of last season. There are 17 regular season games this year. I hear the talk that no one is healthy at the end of a football season but it seemed to me that our offense’s complete reliance on the passing game potentially correlated to an increased chance for our receivers to be injured, which they were. I sincerely hope that we have enough horses in the barn to make a deep run. I also hope we achieve a better offensive balance this year.
  15. Patriots came very close to beating us last year. I definitely think we may not sweep them this year and that they can win with a run first offense.
  16. https://www.analyticalgrammar.com/disgruntled-and-gruntled/ Who says that you can’t learn something new on TBD? Had to look up disgruntled vs gruntled. Interesting story!
  17. I thought the most interesting comments were at the end when Tasker jokingly asked him if he'd cut a player to hit a certain "vaccinated player/coach" ratio in order to loosen the COVID 19 restrictions....Beane answered emphatically "yes." From the sounds of it they are still working through this season's protocols and there will be some leniency provided to teams that reach a certain % of vaccinations. Beane detailed some of the challenges that social distancing posed in their ability to hold meetings and were especially impactful to their facilities. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out. They also pointed out that the State of New York is allowing full capacity for MLB stadiums to vaccinated ticket holders. More positive signs for the upcoming season.
  18. I’ll take a stab at this as no one else has yet. Richard Sherman is extremely outspoken on a variety of issues in the league and in life. I think it’s a turn off for some that he comments so much on everything and draws unnecessary attention to himself. Most importantly, he almost killed Dan Carpenter!
  19. How can you say that when Macho Man was at the draft?
  20. IRT comments that Alabama plays a cupcake schedule. They played an SEC pure schedule this year due to COVID. Amazing accomplishments during an unprecedented year of challenges. Mac Jones has the talent to succeed in the NFL. I don’t think he’ll be a HOFer but I he’ll be serviceable. The BYU kid doesn’t impress me. I don’t think his body is ready for a full NFL season. The Jets haven’t shown an ability to take care of or develop QBs. 17 regular season games this year. Wilson won’t make it to the end.
  21. I really enjoy the different perspectives offered by our TBD posters throughout the draft process. I think Beane has always been honest with us in his comments. When he became GM he emphasized the importance of building continued success through quality players in the trenches. If you pair this sentiment with our glaring weaknesses in the AFC Championship Game I think one could rationally understand our first three picks of the draft. I hear the arguments on small windows to win super bowls and other areas of need but I just really believe in the approach the FO is taking. Spencer Brown is a great pick in my opinion. Our draft might not be sexy but it will pay dividends for years to come. One other note on comments in regards to the game changing. The pendulum does swing back and forth on different styles of play. But, players who posses raw athletic talent that harnesses power, strength, and explosiveness are constantly improving in the size and speed categories year over year. That 300lb nose tackle can now run down people from behind. That 265lb defensive end can blow up your screen game. That 310lb offensive lineman can get out in space and crush your soul now. I like the pick!
  22. BPA all day friends! Trust the process.
