There's football on tonight -
KellyToTasker replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm addicted, I'll watch the entire game that is televised. -
New year, new coaches, new system. We have no idea what Kolb will do in Buffalo. Like Whaley said, "Let the best man win."

The end of going to games at stadiums?
KellyToTasker replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Being a fan is feeling apart of the experience/team that you're rooting for on a regular basis. You have a sense of belonging...Hence your participation on this message board. The fans, the players, coaches, and personnel all feed off of the game day environment. The game would deminish if the filled stadiums were removed. 4th quarter in a preseason game like? A prophet? More like a gross exaggeration....I'd have season tickets if in the Buffalo area. -
Yeah, seriously. The WR group went from yawn to potentially explosive and dominating. BB and the Pats should be concerned for what to expect on opening day. Can't wait!
-
This offense will be insanely quick to score (out of oblivion crazy). I can't wait for the development of Manuel. Him a running threat. CJ in the backfield. WR's with world class speed. A LB that just likes to HIT people. Oh and he can cover. There is going to be a strong a sense of "nasty" that we haven't seen in a LONG time.....Gone are the days of "soft" don't ever show anything other than a 4 man front D. Get Dansby on board. Extend Byrd. All of sudden....."Hey Jack"....We're looking pretty good (without over spending on anything like the fish did). Has anyone noticed the composure difference between Manuel and Smith. Manuel has the "it" factor. Can't wait for football season. If the playoffs are not in the cards...Better football will be. Progression in the right direction will be seen. Building blocks are being emplaced! Go Bills!

Sorry, can't copy the Twitter link from my phone. Per Adam Schefter. Voted 31-1. Illegal for the RB to lower his crown of the helmet outside of the tackle box.

NFL Playoff expansion????
KellyToTasker replied to KellyToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This +1. I like your way of thinking. Maximize the value of all 32 teams without adding additional teams and lowering the value of talent across the league (the ownership will be happy = more $, the fans will be happy = more/longer interest). Seriously, who doesn't love watching the underdogs in the NCAA basketball tournament knock off a power?????? -
Well this would certainly help end the drought..... http://www.theredzone.org/BlogDescription/tabid/61/EntryId/31367/Goodell--NFL-considering-expanding-playoffs-to-14-or-16-teams/Default.aspx NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell spoke Wednesday about possibly expanding the playoffs, Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com reports. "Right now we're with 12 teams obviously. We'll look at probably 14 or 16 teams," Goodell said. Goodell made it clear that the competition committee has considered such expansion in the past, and it clearly hasn't happened. The benefits of more playoff games are obvious: more teams involved in the race late in the season, and theoretically more television money.

I'm all in regardless....
KellyToTasker replied to KellyToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't view 8-8 as meaningless.....It's a non-losing season. Why would a guy like Byrd or Levitre want to stick around with players that "mail" it in....Or a coaching staff that no longer wants the "W" because things didn't turn out as expected. 2 of the last three are division games. Beating the Jets would remove the "win streak" they currently have over Buffalo. Thus, it would not be a topic heading into the first match up with them next season. The next step has to happen at some point. You cannot turn on and off the "winning mentality" (especially when you're trying to acquire it). -
The "Buffalo" Bills have been and will always be the one team I invest my time, energy and emotion towards. I've been a fan of the Bills for a couple of decades. I literally feel ill after a loss. (I am well rounded - professional job, husband, father, Christian faith - so please refrain from the "finding better things in life" comments). Long story short, I live out of town and was fortunate enough to attend the Bills/Titans game this year. (The Ralph is heaven on earth - for me - That is literally the one day a year when I'm surrounded by 70 thousand people like me - Not to many Bills fans where I live). Buffalo hit the field after giving up what turned out to be the game winning touchdown. A fan yells, "Put Thigpen in". Another fan responds, "Shut the ^uck up. Better yet, get the H*LL out of here. How about supporting your GD team". I relate closer to the 2nd fan (in terms of "supporting the team"). Regardless of the player, coach, owner, etc., I will pull for this football team. I would rather see the Bills finish 8-8 than 5-11 and open the door for a "do over" with new staff. The team is close. Deep down, most people on this board know that. Yes, it's going to be another "long" off season. And yes, the Bills front office will make a move or two to "sell" tickets. But I for one...Want to remain loyal and faithful. So when the Bills do win it all some day.....I can proudly say that I stood by them every step of the way. If the fan base turns on the Bills....Then what? It allows for an increased opportunity for the Bills to move to another market. The current players "DO" care. They "Want" to win. The character on this team is in high regard. The talent level is capable of winning (players and coaching staff). You've waited this long....Please step away from the cliff. GO BILLS!!!!!!!

Then stop posting, seriously. Most of us have faith that the Bills will remain in Buffalo and will finally get it right.
-
Bro. That's depressing. More importantly.....RIP Mr. Wilson. Life is precious, fragile and short.
-
No character??????? And exactly how well do you know Stevie Johnson? Your post states nothing but ignorance.
-
Obviously you're not seeing his point. Not all Bills fans......Just the casual fans that feel they're entitled to post redundant, senseless comments. Great idea....We have a receiver that studies the game, runs precise and sharp routes......Abused "Revis Island" all day long. And his game has gotten better each year. Resigning Stevie Johnson is huge. Any other thought would result in another search for a key player. Don't we have enough holes?
-
I'm right there with you. Perfectly said. I know what's important in life and I have my priorities right. That being said.......I also invest alot of emotion and support into the Bills. Its one of my passions in life. So yes.....I'm going to feel disappointed. And right now its a feeling of shock. Thankfully the holidays will drown out another disappointing year in football. Maybe next year we'll be healthy. They really are close. Oh and get rid of Edwards......He needs to go. Go Bills!!!!!

Buffalo Bills 2011 Week 1 Pump Up Highlight! Get Pumped!
KellyToTasker replied to WILLIS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like you rarely post....But visit the site OFTEN. GREAT video brother. I'm pumped.....HAPPY KICKOFF DAY GENTS!!!!!!!!!!! -
+1. Even with his "non-regular job" he should be more than happy with that. Don't make yourself bigger then what you are....Know your comparitive worth and situation that you're in (Titans...Transition period). Exceptional player.....But alot of guys can carry the rock (productively) and do it for much less. So, say you do sign him for $30 Mil.....The shelf-life of a running back would put him near the end of his playing days after the Titans have fully re-tooled.
