  1. Just curious. Do any of you watch Bills footage from YouTube (e.g., Bills Throughout the Ages) in order to get pumped up for anything that matters? Meetings? Gym? Whatever? I'll watch some positive Bills footage right before a meeting.....Just to own it. Hey, I've been with this team for a good deal of time......Works for me. It's off season.
  2. "Worked for George Wilson" matters in this topic. The OP suggested an idea for Easley. Wilson adjusted his game and position to remain on an NFL roster. It matters because it's relevant information that states it can be done. Will it? Probably not. But we're discussing the potential. Using previous history is a good place to start.
  3. He's a solid special teams player and great in contribution within an area that they're placing emphasis on. Hey, it worked for George Wilson (transition from WR to SS)!
  4. The Colts fans I know love him - he keeps things interesting, always wants to win, and engages with the fans (even if through social media). It doesn't excuse what he did. Thankfully, nobody was hurt. The NFL needs to hold him to a higher standard - virtue of his position. I hope he recovers, acquires the help that he apparently needs, and comes back a better person and owner.
  5. The Bills front office expressed their concerns on the Bills schedule and how it related to an opponent's bye week/Thursday night game. It seemed apparent to the fan base for multiple seasons that the Bills were getting hosed and finally....The organization expressed it's frustration. The below is why I'm really excited about the schedule release. We'll see what impact the front office has on this topic. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2013/11/13/bills-addressed-bye-week-opponents-with-nfl/
  6. Prayers for Jim and his family. My hero as a kid and as an adult. Stay strong Jim!
  7. One and done, maybe. But one year to Brady is a lot!. Every year is closer to retirement.
  8. Well...They pulled it off. We got "two" thumpers, one for each side of the ball. Whaley is the man!
  9. Great plan. I respect that, I do. Thanks for demonstrating that it can be done. But isn't that over simplifying the process (dead money, players willing to restructure, etc.)?
  10. A healthy Vick would win more games than Lewis. Health is the concern, especially when EJ was injury prone last year. It would be highly unfortunate to go 3 QBs deep 2 years in a row.
  11. I'm ready for the next 24 hours. Mostly for the Bills, but for the league in general. There is so much money to be spent with the increased salary cap.
  12. I agree, draft position does not matter. But L. Smith better filled the necessary blocking role. If the O-Line didn't require as much help, maybe Gragg does see the field more.
  13. We can run in circles all night long on this topic. Water under the bridge, fine. Professional writing = I'll maintain a standard. Buffalo Bills, fan based website = I'll cut some slack and remove the red pen.
  14. Simple minds insult. Are you insecure? They generally go together.
  15. Absolutely not. Why? Because this is an open/public forum that is designed for a fan base to discuss the Buffalo Bills and the league in which they compete. That's it.....Nothing more. Really....That's it. Holding each other accountable? Yikes. Good luck man. You demonstrated what I was pointing out. Relax. Life is better that way.
  16. Does it really bother you? I mean....It really seems like it wrecked your day. Were you excited of the possibility? Extremely disappointed? It appears to have been a typo regarding the OP's title. It'll be okay.
  17. They don't value a safety worth that much of a cap hit per PFT. Top priority is Safety; however, they have needs at DL , DE, and LB. Too many pieces for the Eagles to better vice going all in on one position.
  18. Seems the teams that have a strong tie/interest in Byrd do not have friendly cap space or the team is not an immediate contender (Redskins, Eagles, Browns). Maybe the "amicable" relationship with Whaley will pay off.
  19. I'm going with the Chiefs over the Colts, the Saints over the Eagles, Chargers over the Bengals, and the Packers over the 49ers. Not necessarily the teams expected to win....But that's who I want to win. The Chiefs going far into the playoffs is a good "glory" days reminder....Simply, they're a long standing, traditional team.....That were pretty good when the Bills were good in the 90's. I'd like to see the Saints shake the "cold weather/on the road" suck fest. Rivers can "will" his team to a win over Andy Dalton and the Bengals. And I like the idea of the Packers winning this year's "ice bowl".
  20. So Aaron Rodgers sits behind Favre and never sees any playing time. Finally gets his shot and plays as he is today. EJ actually plays during his rookie year......Yet, there are people calling this year a total waste for EJ and the organization. He did get game experience and the coaching staff has NFL game film on him. Ideal? No. Stil beneficial? Yes.
  21. Yeah, because at 1, 000 posts you're salty enough to add a credible topic worth talking about. Rrrriiiiigghhhhttttt.
  22. This was not Fred's last game at the Ralph. He has another year on his contract.
  23. Felt like the Seattle game last year. I hope EJ is the guy. He looked bad today.
  24. Pass Interference in the end zone. What a joke of a call!
