Can we trust anyone that is not of the Western NY region or does not have ties to the Western NY Region? Will you? Ralph kept the Bills here. He was invested in the city and the region. He embraced it. In today's age, will an outsider have the same commitment? It's not the same as when Mr. Wilson put the Bills in Buffalo.

Present day to day operations will go on. They'll pay their bills, taxes, make personnel changes, draft, market, etc. But until the "plan" is in place and presented to the community as a whole.....Those same day to day operations will have an ominous dark cloud lurking over every move. I feel it right now. I only hope that a "plan" is in place. I need, you need, we all need the Bills to stay in Buffalo. Until that day of reassurance comes.....Kick butt Buffalo. Do it for Mr. Wilson. Do it for Jim.

Rest In Peace Mr. Wilson. Thank you for your time, effort, and commitment. Say hello to Kent Hull and Tim Russert. God Bless.

I hope everyone that posts does this.

Which Jim Kelly Jersey to Purchase?
KellyToTasker replied to KellyToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good deal. I should say I do have one Kelly jersey. However, it has signatures.....One being Jim Kelly. I got his autograph as a kid at Fredonia. Felt great that day until Lonnie Johnson signed it.....His autograph went right through Kelly's. Before I got Kelly's I had others sign the jersey first. Jeff Burris said he wouldn't sign another player's jersey. Still an amazing day. Jim was engulfed in his golf cart by fans. Great memory from growing up. Great input! I'll wear it on Sundays during the season. The white looks outstanding. But the negligent chicken wing mishap could ruin everything. -
Which Jim Kelly Jersey to Purchase?
KellyToTasker replied to KellyToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great idea. And thanks to all for the advice! Why do you not wear it? Is it framed? -
JohnnyGold wrote a well written post in the "Today I Cried Thread" and it got me thinking....How do I "not" have a Jim Kelly jersey? He always has and will always be my favorite player/Buffalo Bill. Like many of you, he's my hero. His name and number will never fade and will always have relevance. I'm rooting for him now more than any other time due to his present battle. The jerseys have meaning (to us) and are not cheap by any standards. They're an investment both financially and emotionally. This will be the last jersey I purchase barring unforeseen damage. Thus, I want the real deal (not a replica, not a jersey for $20 from an overseas distributor). The home jersey represents the home standing Bills, the cool, fall crisp air, tailgating at it's best. Nothing is better than a home Bills game and everything the day brings. This jersey is also significantly cheaper. The Super Bowl XXV version defines Jim Kelly - a blue collar fighter that achieves success coupled with endured hardship, a leader that rises to the occasion. Help me decide which jersey to purchase for the final time, to wear every Sunday from here on out, to pull for Jim. http://www.shopthebi...ntic-royal.aspx http://www.nflshop.c..._Jersey_-_White

All choked up. From afar, It's easy to distance oneself from the situation. Reading these posts, brings things a little closer and better defined concerning Jim's battle. Praying hard for his strength and courage that he and many others have to use in this terrible fight for health and life. My hero.

Report: Bills express interest in Kenny Britt

Whaley seems to think that former 1st round draft picks that have not produced at a high quality, but are still in the NFL, are not draft busts. If he signs, it'll be another former 1st round draft pick. The signings of Williams and Rivers had Buffalo tied for the NFL lead in former 1st round draft picks on a team's roster. Thus, Buffalo could be competing as a team with the most 1st round draft picks (we'll see how that goes). -

Pettine used Buffalo as a stepping stone. Buffalo signs Spikes to a one year deal. If we sign Britt, it'll most likely be a short term deal. Small sample to divulge anything of merit (Spikes and Britt definitely have their reasons for the Bills not committing to a long term agreement with either); however, it can appear that the Bills are turning into the transition/proving one's worth team. Hey, if you're a player that has some baggage.....Come to Buffalo and revive your career. It's a low key/low pressured environment and you can just play ball. The problem with short term deals, the success can be short lived and the team's continuity is not sustained. Now, I believe the Bills are committing to a core group of players and will better attempt to extend the better talent. I just hope that certain pieces of the puzzle do not turn into a revolving door. If you sign Britt to a one year deal, you still need a long term solution.....The same with the Middle Linebacker position. -

I believe it was reported that he left and will decide in the next 3 days. -

This has got to be (whoever signs him) Kenny Britt's last chance. If he doesn't perform on and off the field it is highly unlikely that another team would take a chance on him. Potentially,EJ will have every weapon available (draft Ebron, further help on the O-Line, etc.). Ugh....It's only March! -
I like the show for what it is. How many "shocking" endings can they create? I read that a different version of the series is in the works.....Basically starting from the walkers coming to be and taking over the food chain, yet the story line will follow a different group of survivors. A separate group, new challenges on the micro scale, etc., etc. Another show that's pretty interesting is, "The Following". I never gave it much interest until I gave it a go on Netflix. Pretty sweet 1st season. NUTS!

Taylor Lewan Charged With Assault?
KellyToTasker replied to BIllsNation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Judging by recent history the Bills do not mind evaluating players with a not so perfect past and ultimately going with said player. If he fits and the Bills F.O has a good heart to heart with the guy, go ahead.....get him. All we can do is speculate. -

I'm pulling for the guy. Even last year I was checking up on Fitz. Seems like a good leader to have in the locker room. -

40 Yard Line Kickoff Proposal....
KellyToTasker replied to KellyToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The whole intent of the rule is to limit actual returns. Great scheming by the coordinators will inevitably lead to more analysis and further changes. Such as, without removing kickoffs completely, limiting the number of kickoffs that fall short of the goal-line. Just throwing darts. I get that teams score more than others, etc., etc. -
40 Yard Line Kickoff Proposal....

Hence the "I kid". -
The league cannot look away, they'll have to look into it. You have two players (starters) that recently left and made an allegation. It doesn't matter if it's viewed as, "well everyone is doing it". There is a rule in place and it's alleged that it was broken...Inquire into it. If it turns up nothing, great. If it does, penalize as fit.

The game continues to evolve and change in an effort to make the game safer and reduce the total number of hits and collisions. If passed, touch backs galore. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/03/19/nfl-owners-will-vote-on-moving-kickoffs-to-the-40/ I kid....Glad we're placing so much emphasis on "core" special teams players!

The players are bigger, faster, stronger. They've outgrown and out paced (speed) the current field. It's bang, bang every play (regardless if it's run or pass). It's amazing how fast defensive ends and line backers are, especially when considering their size. Bigger bodies make bigger impacts (simplifying it of course).
