Before opening this thread, I thought Marrone had said something bad about the new Mike Williams, WR (going off of the thread title and thinking of current players). There's just too many Mike Williams!

It all looks random because of constant coaching change. The front office caters to what the coach wants....Players in support of the current coach's desired scheme.

Yeah, you need to go Mark Vader. It's almost like a religious experience. You need to come visit the promised land. It should be a journey that all Bills fans experience. I try and go to one game a year. My rules: Pick a game early in the season (so, it's guaranteed to be relevant), and pick a team they "should" beat (winning makes it so much better). Last year I went to the 49ers game.

Do we know that Whaley didn't have a 3rd or 4th round grade on EJ? Or, is it speculation that Whaley had a 1st round grade on EJ because he was taken in the first. It can be a case of....Hey Buddy, out of these QBs.....He's your best option. Due to open comments, pre-draft 2013, about taking a QB....They were locked into taking a guy like EJ in round 1. Buddy loved big school players. EJ was an easy guy to talk themselves into (Big QB, big school, good leadership traits, etc.).

He's not a good QB, not even as a backup. No value added. I'd rather have Case Keenum play the QB2 role.

Football season can't get here fast enough. I'm guessing a rediculous number of pages will be generated that will finally reach a general consensus of Maybin being the worst 1st round pick for the Buffalo Bills. Guys like Spiller and Mike Williams actually had NFL careers. Maybin is most likely working on his art/painting in some quaint studio enjoying his NFL earnings. Good for him.

Nobody is disputing that. The first round, as reflected in an article pulled from NBC sports 2016, only has a 56% chance of picking day 1 starters. The draft is full of unknowns.

Eh, I could name others (Terrell Davis, Marques Coleston, etc.), but probably better to pick the best late round draft pick of all time. The point is....Although unlikely...It happens. And will continue to happen, regardless of the position.

The basis used was predicated on 6+ rounds of teams missing. Not different. Also, there are plenty of examples IRT late round or UDFA WR that were really productive in the NFL (Rod Smith, Wes Welker, Donald Driver, Andre Reed in the fourth round, etc.). And from the other 31 teams in the NFL. Everyone knows how difficult the draft can be.

They have so many glaring needs, they should have their choice at 10 (WR, DB, TE, etc). Unlike like last year's assumption, our 1st round draft pick needs to be healthy and an instant starter/contributor. They can't miss....Far to many holes.

Yeah, that would do it. If it wasn't for the Bills, I could easily walk away from the NFL. I'm hoping that we get a few "good" seasons to go along with my boys growing up. They're fans of the Bills, because I like them so much, but I want them to like the Bills on their own accord (not because of me). Welcome back!
