I agree, I don't think it's good for the defense to completely fall apart on 95% of the plays and make a spectacular play 5% of the time. That's not good defense. That's occasionally making a really good play.

More like, they didn't care to win and protected key players. Generally, teams that need/want win play their best guys (the entire game). Their top receivers Gronkowski and Edelman didn't even play.

They might be on paper and have solid potential to be a great defense, but they haven't played liked one yet (regardless of why...injuries, etc.).

If the Patriots wanted to answer, they would have.

I could only stomach another Patriots Super Bowl if they are genuinely blown out and completely embarrassed on the field. Granted, this scenario would be a horrible game, but I would muster a huge smile on my face and thoroughly relish their demise. Pretty much how I felt before Atlanta melt down.

Saints or Rams will likely take the NFC. Whoever has home field advantage. Until Kansas City puts it together during the playoffs/January, I won't ever be convinced that they're the pick. The AFC is a toss up.

When games like this are the exception, sure....Absolutely entertaining. But the game is trending towards Arena Football, no defense, back and forth they all go. It's like when the defense makes a stop, that becomes the big play vice what was once the 65 yard bomb (due to both teams scoring over and over, taking turns). It's the single defensive stop that has more value towards the outcome of the game than the one of many TDs thrown.

And I as welll. My concern is when the offensive juggernauts become the standard and not the exception/fun offensive performance.

How can you derive that from a series of posts in one thread? That's an assumption that you quickly came to.....Assumptions with little thought rarely turn out well. And you're going from 1 extreme (100 points a game) to another (20 points a game). Seems pretty weak.

Okay.....Pay attention and read slow. There was zero defense in that game. Both teams went up and down, from start to finish. Much like college basketbal, turn the game on in the final two minutes and watch the outcome.

Horrible. I'm not a, "everyone gets a trophy type guy". But, I'm also not a dick. This isn't funny and only speaks to the quality of the person (and those contributing) that started the GoFundMe page. Various fans don't make it any easier being a Bills fan (this, dildos on the field/multiple times, dumps in the stadium, crashing through tables, drunk stupidness, etc.). Drink beer, have a good time, but you don't have to be the headline on TMZ on a weekly basis. Stop becoming famous via the internet for the wrong reasons.

They all need to go. Embarrassing is not a strong enough word for this level of peformance. Regardless of the playoff year, there is not a "process", it's blowout after blowout. It's complete incompetence with zero glimmer of a possibility in turning this ship around.

I'm sure McDermott told Daboll to tone back the offense from game 1, concerned that they were showing too much. They're still tinkering and evaluating. Ducasse was rough, Dawkins didn't play to his standard.

I watched a ton of Levi Brown YouTube videos. This I'm okay with, we've clung to many diamonds in the rough with hope that somebody would be the guy. He wasn't. What, I'm not okay with.....I cheated. I once wore a Colts sweatshirt and hat to a Thursday night, Colts/Jaguars game. I was so Frustrated with the Bills....That was the year of the Patriots come back game and we started 5-2. It started off so well, and over night......Things changed. I was vulnerable. I thought it would make me feel better, it only made me feel worse. Unfortunately, there are pictures.
