  1. True. But he got benched for Duck Hodges (last season) and Tomlin cemented that change by saying that Hodges gets the helm because he doesn’t kill us. (Paraphrasing a bit). Myles Garrett is getting free licks on Rudolph next week. He’s gonna be fed to the wolves. First start against the Browns since the great debacle last year.
  2. Bills attitude.
  3. Yup. We win tomorrow, no worse than the three seed for us.
  4. If anyone touches Josh in a non football way or with perceived intent to injure, the entire Bills team will clear the bench. The Patriots know this. The entire league knows this.
  5. I said your latter the other day at work. My Alabama, Roll Tide buddy asked, “So, you must be pretty happy with Allen?” I followed with, “I love him.” It came out fast, felt right. Straight faced, to the point of shock, he goes, “You, what? Did you say that you love him?” (Awkward silence) Me: “Yeah.”
  6. He has. Early on it was, the offense doesn’t click without Brown. Now, they’re just as good, if not better than earlier in the season (I’d say they’re more consistent throughout the entire game now vice earlier in the year...They don’t go quite in the middle of the game.) Really excited to see a healthy John Brown.
  7. Great point. I have an old friend that just retired from active duty. He’s single, bought an RV, and is following the Colts around the entire season (every game, every city). He has a Colts tattoo over his heart. He told me once, I don’t have kids, I’m not married anymore, the Colts are my life. All that being said, after the Bills game yesterday, he says via text, “I don’t want to play Buffalo in round 1.” That was it. Teams and their fans are catching onto the Bills and noticing how dangerous they are.
  8. Good deal. He never commented on what they accomplished in prior seasons. He’s saying this year, right now Allen is playing at Maholmes’ level. He also said along the lines, I’m not taking away from what Maholmes has accomplished or diminishing his level play.
  9. Not a non point, it’s referring to the position Hasselback made. Can you care to make point to what Hasselback said?
  10. Allen’s stats have jumped significantly this season from year 2 (Last season and Maholmes’ MVP year). Hasselback wasn’t comparing Allen to Maholmes last year. He’s comparing Allen to Maholmes this year.
  11. Bruschi moved the goal post. Hasselback was saying that Josh Allen is playing every bit as good as Maholmes, right now. As in, right now. Bruschi brought up last season and brought up the challenge ahead (playoffs).
  12. For not much of a reason, but this game reminds of the Dolphins and Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day years ago (Leon “Lett” it be, 1993). Similarities, tight division race, Thanksgiving’ish. Hopefully we get a better ending and the Dolphins drop the game. Enjoy the day. Go Bills.
  13. Anybody notice the Seahawks haven’t played anyone good heading into this week? I kidd, I kidd! 😂
  14. With few us having the ability to see the games in person, one thing that was apparent at the Titan’s game (in person, I went), was the constant rotation of the DL. It’s been mentioned a lot, affords flexibility, keeps the players fresh, etc. But does it? It’s a Hockey line change every play. The D-Line doesn’t stop running. They play one down, run off the field, run back on, play a down, over and over. It reminded me of my younger track days.....Run the 3200, keep moving/jogging until the 1600, keep moving until the 800, etc. The entire track meet was constant running (hard and not hard). These are 300 pound guys that never stop when the Defense is on the field. They lose the feel of the game and do not seem very “fresh” as the game rolls on.
  15. Picked up three tickets for me and my sons. Gonna check them out of school at noon and start heading to the game. So pumped! Go Bills!
  16. At this point, after observing McDermott over the years, would it be surprising for the Bills to forfeit (accept the Loss) in order to preserve the non-COVID positives on the team? If that’s what the players want (I.e., loss of paycheck, preserve health) I don’t think so. It considers the team, let’s the players know that you care about them first and maintains stability for later games. In essence, lose the battle, win the war. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  17. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/06/29/pegulas-jettison-another-top-executive/amp/?__twitter_impression=true Movement a little closer to the Bills. Continued stability is a concern.
  18. She can, absolutely. Their track record with the Sabres, yikes. They have a good thing going with the Bills.....I hope their approach with the Sabres doesn’t bleed over to the Bills.
  19. I didn’t think she was calling plays, making decisions, but it may impact how and what is said when you have the owner listening. The organizations that do well (long term) have owners that have more of a hands off approach and allow their football people to run the operation. Couple in the disfunction with the Sabres, it’s concerning. Its likely nothing, but it may lead to more pressing issues.
  20. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/06/26/kim-pegula-wore-headset-for-bills-regular-season-finale/amp/?__twitter_impression=true Kim Pegula wore a headset during the regular season finale. Granted, the game meant nothing, what will it lead to in the future in their owner/management of the team(s)? Is this typically done? As detailed as McDermott is, I’m not sure if he likes any distraction/out of the norm requests. I also think that he warrants trust and confidence (success on the field, revamped the entire roster, etc.). Thoughts?
  21. The tickets are refundable. No harm in buying now and hoping for the best.
  22. Last year, Bills fans took over the place. Great weekend. Planning on the same this season. I already have my tickets arranged for purchase (through our local Bills Backers).
  23. I thought the OP’s post was pretty bad, then I read yours. Congrats! Your post is terrible!
