Why that is the standard he is being judged? Everyone wants him to be Wilson and win now or he is a bust. Don't agree with it at all. But that is what people want him to be.

I can only remember a few times where he could have run and didn't. He could have run on the 80 yard TD pass. Accuracy is his issue not his running.

They dropped 4 to 6 passes today. They can look in the mirror first.

That is the question. EJ is making the right reads. He is seeing the open guy most of the time. He is just not delivering the ball accurately too often. He looks better than last year but still not good enough. I just don't know if experience and time improves accuracy.

Whaley should admit mistake and send this guy to IR. He wasn't any good when healthy. He wasn't any good in St. Louis. Incognito would be an upgrade but I would be fearful of his influence on Richardson and Henderson. Hopefully Richardson shows he can play and they look for trade or street FA to replace Williams.

I don't think coaches, GM's or owners want Thursday night games. Only the networks want them. I'm sure the other 30 head coaches are quite happy to be at home right now.

Before there was Micheal Irvin and Emmitt Smith, there was Aikman to Novacek. He was Aikman's security blanket along with an ever improving offensive line. Give this kid some time, a new RG, and a playmaker at TE.

I don't hate the player. I agree he is not being used correctly. That is another reason he will not be back next year. I like Hughes on 3rd and long. They will address the DL in the draft and FA with age and legal concerns.

Do you think they will re-sign Hughes? I don't. They will draft DE and/or sign in FA a DE that can play the run better.

Hughes is gone after this year. 49ers need a pass rusher. Bills guard play is still awful. Boone only signed a two year deal and it appears clear the 49ers will use their cap room elsewhere. Hughes is a liability against the run. This is a fair deal. Boone would be a huge upgrade at guard. Hughes is a one trick pony that will get overpaid in free agency. Losing Hughes pass rush will hurt but the guard play is so bad something needs to be done. I'm not trying to be gloom and doom after one loss. Just trying to play GM. Thoughts?

He would be an upgrade over both starting guards. It would be a risk especially if he decides to make Seantrel his new friend. But the guy can play. Assuming he is in shape I would take the risk and send Kouandjio or Williams to IR.

Throw to Williams in OT between the LB and safety He has missed as many or more deep throws as he has made. Brady has been missing them all year too. Nobody is happy with his accuracy but there are good signs there.
