  1. It's still only one yard. Put in Dixon and get a dam yard.
  2. Fred Jackson is most overrated. Wood is second. Kiko is to be determined.
  3. Vocal owners - Jerry Jones, Arthur Blank, and Daniel Snyder Silent owners - Mara, Rooney, Paul Allen I will take peace and quiet from my owner thank you very much
  4. Actually this team took a step back. The wins over Detroit and Green Bay were gifts. The running game and line are significantly worse than last year. The best RB on the team is the worst starting RB in the NFL. TE situation is worse than last year. LB is the only unit that is significantly better. And as always there is no answer at QB. They pissed away more than half a season on Kyle Orton. EJ hopefully learned a little watching but as many pointed out his accuracy may not be correctable. The best evidence of that is the fact Orton couldn't hit open guys either. Agree with others this was a four or five win team. Marrone has completely screwed up the OL and QB position. Whaley has to fire him or they both need to go.
  5. Wilson is above average QB on a team with the best defense in the NFL, the best home-field advantage, and the most determined RB in the game. Most every pass play is play action. I would put 8 in the box and dare him to throw to one of the worst WR units in the NFL. Luck has no running game and no defense. His OC is five downgrades from Bruce Arians and Pagano would be fired if he did not battle and survive cancer. Both would make the Bills an 11 or 12 win team with this defense. Luck and an experienced Sammy might be a 13 win team.
  6. Agree LB's are a true strength now Dareus is not going anywhere. Aaron Rodgers started zero of his first 32 games. Not saying EJ is Rodgers - just saying it's too early to give up on him. Kouandjio and/or Richardson might develop into a servicable guards Almost any UDFA RB will be better than Spiller. Resign/franchise Hughes. Extend Dareus and Glenn now. Sign a guard and TE in FA. Go after Schaub/Sanchez/Foles/Cousins or a different QB.
  7. I would retain Whaley and fire Marrone and the entire offensive staff. Whaley did ok in the draft and FA. I don't believe Marrone was his choice. He messed up the o-line but has the defense stacked. All they need to do is resign Hughes and maybe Spikes. Then use entire draft on lineman, tight ends, and a rb. Bring in another veteran to push EJ. I would even take Cutler.
  8. Valid points. But he can clean up the PF calls. He plays the run much better than anyone thought he could. He makes everyone on the line better. If they let him leave there is a gaping hole in the defense that will need to be addressed. They need the draft to address the TE, O-line positions, DB, and RN postions. Let CJ walk. Extend Dareus and Glenn now. Franchise Hughes if you have to but get him signed. Give him the same deal Avril got in Seattle and everyone is happy.
  9. Mack wouldn't give the Bills another victory this year. Without Watkins the offense is even worse and the team would likely be no better than 6 - 8 at this point. Agree with others the best move was to trade down in this WR rich class. They could have added a guard/center in the second.
  10. It looked important then. They have been a dead man walking ever since. Now they need not a miracle but something close to get in the playoffs. And a win in Foxboro...
  11. Washington and Atlanta are horredous on defense. MIke Smith should have been fired last year. Can't believe he kept his job.
  12. The UDFA in Denver has more yards, higher YPC, and two less fumbles. Let CJ walk and draft a replacement on day 3.
  13. New York Jets - would be a train wreck in NYC New York Giants - see above Miami - if they collapse again this job may open up but Harbaugh would be their top candidate San Francisco - they want calm and cool. That was not Schwartz in Detroit. They will get Shanahan's or Schottenhiemier's kid. Chicago - desperate to rebuild defense and he knows the division - this is the spot to worry about Carolina - they will go Offensive minded coach Atlanta - another place to worry about as their defense has been a mess for 5 years Tenn - Whisenhunt will stay Oakland - again Harbaugh is the front runner and they probably also go offensive minded guy to develop Carr Did I miss anyone? Bills if Marrone craps the bed against Oakland??? Best hope is Todd Bowles, Dan Quinn and a recycled Rex Ryan get the jobs over Schwartz.
  14. It is so easy to blame everything on Orton because he is the one with the football in his hands after every snap. It is really easy to just say he sucks and the lack of offensive production is his fault. It's easy to say because it is true. He is horrible. Did Hackett illegally block downfield on the screen pass to Woods? No that was the two first round and change pick Watkins that ruined that play. Does the entire offensive line look like garbage? Is that a rookie second round pick that hasn't dressed for a single game all year? Hard to lay all the blame on Hackett - though I would have no problem getting rid of him. For Reuben to say it is Hackett's fault Orton is not doing well is silly. We see the throws. Unless the pass plays are literally called wide right and wide left Orton is the guy that is not getting it done.
  15. Funny how people say so convincingly that moves are never made. Did anyone here predict Manning playing in Denver? For that manner who would have predicted Brees would have been allowed to walk from San Diego. I don't think he will be traded and his cap killing contract would follow him wherever he goes. I think the only QB that could be moved would be Flacco. I think the conventional wisdom is he really is average with a cannon and a great team around him. I think Baltimore overpaid and I bet given truth serum that Ozzie thinks he could win with a less expensive option at QB. I would take Flacco over Orton any day but his contract would kill any hopes of keeping two of these three - Glenn, Hughes, and Dareus.
  16. Orton is horrible. With any luck the defense scores a early and it is a rout. The EJ can play the second half.
  17. Didn't Graham get roasted early and often after the Chicago game? McKelvin was solid. There are only a few DB's in this game that are true shut down guys and even Patrick Peterson got lit up two weeks ago.
  18. Im not sure I even activate Spiller. Never been a fan of his. Fred is still grinding out yards. I would give Bryce more carries but all three were adequate yesterday. If they do activate him, Gragg goes to IR.
  19. Defense ans special teams were great. But I think that was more an early Christmas gift than a win. The offense is putrid. Green Bay dropped more balls than Orton had on target. But who cares me and the boys are flying to Oakland!!!!
  20. The playoffs are only one competent special teams coordinator away!!!
  21. Schwartz will need another year to fix his reputation. Unless Daniel Snyder pays him ridiculous money for a lateral move. Bills can block any lateral move though. In the end he will be back next year.
  22. Show me a team with a franchise QB and they will have cap issues. The Bills have no cap issues because they don't have enough great players to pay.
  23. LOL... As McEnroe would say "You can't be serious". He served up one of the worst pick-six throws of the entire NFL season against Detroit. The red-zone INT against Denver was a terrible read and a throw with no chance to be completed except to a Denver DB. Take away the Jets games and he is awful.
