Pretty simple formula. Get an elite QB. Don't draft three RBs in the first round in under a decade. Build an offensive line. Rush the QB and hit him hard. Wait until you see Seattle blitz Brady to death. It's the only way to beat him. Rex knows that. The Bills have sat back and watched him throw darts into 7 man coverages for a decade.

Classic bad post. Pats didn't let him walk last year. He only signed with the Pats again because they had RB injuries and the Steelers threw him to the curb. And the only reason they are so good is they have the second best QB to ever play, and they drafted him in the 6th round. It's not hard to figure out. Belichick's defense and their offensive line cost them more SB victories than they won. If Seattle's D is healthy it should be a rout.

Pending the draft results and FA, I think Gailey will fail. His offense has been figured out. Either by choice or due to the players he has he does not attack down the field. He has no vertical weapons in NY. Harvin is not a good route runner - certainly not a deep ball WR. All you need to do is play three safeties and drop back in 5-12 yard deep zones. That is what happened the Fitz, SJ, and company. Can you blame Gailey? He is made of glass and I swear he has asthma.

Very close to elite LT's do not move to guard. Henderson was barely adequate at RT and there is no evidence he can play LT. Get one quality guard in FA - preferably one that can play back-up center. Let Pears walk. Use the existing roster to battle or the other guard spot and the reserves.

NFL owners are a fraternity as well. And they don't take kindly to some uppity nobody embarrassing even their newest member. Marrone will not be a HC in this league again. He will be just as extinct as Mularkey is.

Holy crap. What the hell is SF doing? Bills and Jets look almost functional compared to these clowns. Ryand and Bowles are good hires. Quinn should go to the Bears or Denver. My hunch is Altlanta is waiting to hire Josh McDaniels and set that franchise back another decade.

I'm still on record as wanting Bowles or Quinn. I think both would have done well in Buffalo or NY with the current personnel. I'm happy with Rex. Don't recall many in game mistakes. I also believe the only way to beat Brady is to blitz him mercilessly. So far it is a tie and the real battle will be Roman vs Gailey and EJ vs Smith.

Kiko is too small to play MLB. He would be too small play LB against Ohio State. He still should be able to play nickel LB but I hope he is a nightmare to defend coming off the edge.

That was with Kiko as a MLB. The LB's are significantly better now. Kiko was way too small to play MLB. And the DT depth is better. Regardless I'm ok with more turnovers/sacks even if they get gashed every once in a while. So few teams can commit to the run anyways.

Spiller is gone. He would be smart to sign a one year deal in Seattle and have a great season and then hopefully get one final big signing bonus.

What explains the other 8 first round playoff losses? Impressed he could play through the injury. Denver and Elway should get a call from Roger or more worrisome some guys in Vegas.

Spiller is gone. They will bring in a cheaper more dependable option and/or draft someone. It keeps him from negotiating with the competition. They have plenty of cap space unless they actually get Cutler. Pears salary alone is half of what Hughes will want. I'm in your camp on Spikes. If he will take a reasonable deal I want him back. Plus that is added insurance for Kiko. Nobody knows what he will be like coming off the knee injury and playing outside.

Great hire. I said since Marrone left to double down on defense and go get an OC. Love it. Hope he keeps Schwartz so they can be a true hybrid D. But if not no big deal. The D under Pettine could not stop the run because the LB's including Kiko were awful at stopping the run. Well said. Once one hire is made by any of those teams then the rest will fall quickly. I doubt many are waiting on Case but Quinn, Bevell, and Kubiak are worth waiting for.
