  1. Hmmm... not so sure about that. After Barry Sanders retired unexpectedly teams have added language to contracts to protect them from a player getting the signing bonus and riding off into the sunset for non-injury related issues. Sometimes it just affects the teams's salary cap other times it affects actual money paid or repaid to/from the player.
  2. Maybe they should change that. Buffalo hotels are bad like Mr. Brady pointed out. And they have this thing called the internet where you can hold meetings and even take attendance.
  3. I wasn't thinking that way but very interesting. Player wise Chancellor and Graham is probably an upgrade over Graham/Williams. Doubt that works cap wise though. I think if they trade Williams his signing bonus is no longer prorated and it would be a big cap hit which makes signing Dareus harder.
  4. Anyone feel like going all in? Give up a first round pick? Move Graham back to corner.
  5. Completely agree. Wood was bad last year. If he stinks again then they will draft a C in the first or second round. Of course that will depend on what happens with Glenn too. Agree. They probably thought Richardson would develop though.
  6. I can't believe this is the opening day roster. O'Leary has no business on the 53 man roster. I think it is crazy only going with 7 O-lineman. I liked Red Bryant over Carrington though I would have kept both. My bet is they sign a G-C and cut O'Leary or Gragg. Then bring back Bryant and get rid of one these three - Hogan/Goodwin/Brown by trade for low end draft pick. What say you?
  7. Darby will struggle but the bigger issue on defense is back-up safety. They are all bad.
  8. Agreed. This is a bad move. O'Leary wouldn't make most PS's. Bryant was a great signing. Bad move Rex. Yeah I think we all got it. No need for the refresher. Hope so.
  9. Harvin or Woods are the only guys with trade value. I would rather keep Woods. What would they trade for? Safety help I hope. Maybe backup center?
  10. I think Red Bryant is #3. I like Carrington over Corbin because he can slide otu to DE. Maybe Corbin stays too. I hate the back-up safety group. They are worse than the LB's.
  11. Goowwin is hurt and Easley and Thigpen are not WR's - they are special team only guys. They only see WR plays when the Bills are ahead by 24 in the 4th qtr. So they really only have 4 WR's that will play.
  12. I was right about keeping 7 WR. Did not see them Keeping 5 TE's though. O'Leary does not even deserve PS spot. I like keeping a kick-off guy. I think they add a safety and another OL. Corbin Bryant will be gone in 11 days.
  13. You have it backwards. The NFL loves the current CBA. The players will opt out as soon as they can. They got screwed in the deal and they have public sentiment on their side. From concussions to a rogue commissioner just making stuff up as he goes, they have the upper hand. The NFL would extend this agreement as long as possible.
  14. O'Leary is so bad I don't think he even makes the PS They will use the PS for 2 WR, 1 S, 2 CB, 2 LB's, 2 O - lineman, and a DE.
  15. well played Totally agree with the group at 8. Spiller might have had the second or third best season ever for a Bills RB. I thought Riddick was a very good player. I remember him playing with a broken wrist. I think he helped Kelly in the early years.
  16. I was shocked how little rushing yards and attempts he had. But I remember him as being a threat out of the backfield. And I would prefer to forget the likes of Bell, Leaks, and Booker Moore.
  17. Four yards down-field after taking the wrong angle to the runner...and after making some ridiculouosly athletic INT or forced fumble. Did not like him at MLB. Would have loved to see a healthy Kiko playing the Clay Mathews role.
  18. 1. OJ 2. Thurman 3. Gilchirst 4. Cribbs 5. Jackson 6. Lynch 7. Henry 8. McGahee/Spiller/Davis/Riddick 9. Harmon 10. The rest Thurman was my favorite player and is the only signed jersey I own. But OJ had once in a life time skills.
  19. Stop Fred. Go join Frank Reich, Brian Moorman, and Doug Flute in the hearts of fans who like the small less talented players. You played way above your genes. For that you deserve admiration and respect. But you are 34 years old and it is time to go. Is every GM that cuts an aging veteran a dishonest person? If Whaley didn't want to hurt your feelings, well there will be 31 other GM's that will very shortly. Again thank you for your effort. You are the only RB that actually knew how read blocks and fall forward. You beat out two first round backs. But your time is over. Say thank you to the team that gave you a chance. Don't burn the organization and fans that will welcome you back time and time again long after you have spent all your money. Live long and I hope you are healthy for the next phase of your life.
  20. Sanborn is the only guy that will suit up for game 4 of the preseason with no chance of getting cut. Duke is gone. They will find pick-up a FA next weekend.
  21. Are you talking about Fred or Trent Richardson???
  22. I thought keep all three but I would just keep EJ. Save the money and cut Cassell. EJ and Taylor are going to be fine. Nobody is offering anything for EJ. They might be able to cut and sign Cassell after week 1. They need roster spots for Goodwin and McKelvin. They need a third TE and another DB/S. Just go with Taylor and EJ.
