Bills should take shot on Moritz Böhringer
Dragonborn10 replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But can he jump out of a pool? Or do a back flip? Or run a pass route? I heard Mike Mamula was his agent and Matt Jones was his trainer... -
Looking. at the Bills from another perspective.
Dragonborn10 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Leading the league in rushing is a bit misleading. 568 yards were from the QB spot. A small QB who missed two games with injury. Can the rushing game be better next year? I think so with a healthy McCoy to start the season and a more effective right side of the line. But this team will only go as far as TT, Sammy, Clay, and Woods take it. Maybe add a draft pick to the mix. TT will get hurt just like RG3 if he keeps running. He needs to throw and throw some more. Sammy is right. He needs 20 targets a game. Any defense plays better with the lead and a quick strike offense. The Bills have the DB's to match almost anyone. Get the lead. Drop into short zones and blitz. Kill the head. -
I think Bills are planning a move up in the draft
Dragonborn10 replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. That was my point. They already are getting the depth guys you take in rounds 4-7 in FA and fairly cheaply.I would love a move out of first round this year and stack picks in second and third while adding another pick or two next year. -
Maybe not first round but somewhere. They have signed a bunch of veteran backups and special teams guys. They have extra picks. If they use them all there will be late round draft picks that will be at risk of not making the team because of the vets they just signed. I think they move up in second round and take a WR or QB and then move up again and get the FSU kicker in the third. Other scenario is they give picks away this year for higher picks next year.

QB most likely to come out of retirement?
Dragonborn10 replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Three pages and nobody offered up Vince Evans? Oh wait the thread is about QB's coming out of retirement, he still plays for the Raiders. -
Stop overthinking the room... It is Brady. It is and has always been about Brady. And add a little bit of cutthroat mentality with their veteran players. Belichick has no problem letting go of the star veteran a year or two before they decline. He replaces them with a young guy or another veteran at a much lower cost. Or worst of all for the rest of the league, he gets a team to give up draft picks for an aging veteran.

If TT plays well they still may not have enough for Glenn, TT, and Gilmore.

Belichick says "Brady is the GOAT"
Dragonborn10 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Montana was more athletic. My god could you imagine him today. Brady was bigger and probably has the stronger arm. What Brady has done with the players around him is incredible. The only exception talent wise is Moss but even he was a head case that respected Brady. Would the debate be any different if the Seahawks secondary was healthy or they gave Lynch the ball? I choose Montana but just barely. I gave up hating Brady a long time ago. If we ever find out what was on those tapes, maybe it is a different debate. But stolen signals or not Brady continues to excel. -
Bills Sign UFA CB Sterling Moore

UDFA with experience. Cheap. One year deal. Leaves roster/draft spots for more LB's -
Standing or Charging: Which Bills' Logo is Better?

Either is fine. But I prefer the white helmets over the red. -
NFL.com: Bills #1 need in draft is OT
Dragonborn10 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All depends on cap strtegy. If plan is to let Glenn walk next year and use money for Gilmore and Taylor, then OT is a top priority. If the plan is to lock Glenn up then the priority is LB, LB, NT, SS, DE. -
Jackson made Andy Dalton look good. RGIII has some talent. I really like the Alex Smith comparison. Still more likely than not he will fail, but I would not be surprised he does well with a coach that is willing to work with him. Chuckie's brother gave him a chance to start but built an offense for Cousins not RGIII.

They have 8 picks already. This is not the year to trade down for more picks in 2016. In fact in the middle rounds it may be wise to move up to get the PK from FSU. If they do trade down, I would want a 2017 pick in exchange. You can get more value that way. Drop out of the first round this year, pick up a second round pick this year and another second and change from next year. Say go from 19 to 35-38. Basically will get the same type of player - a good starting caliber LB or S. And the team you are trading with will be a top 10 team meaning they may be bad again this year.

Rex Ryan: I won't be shocked if Ed Reed is HC in 5 years

Why can't Rex just just the hell up??? Just coach. Stop with the dam predictions. -
50% Hit Rate on Top 5 Picks Since 2012
Dragonborn10 replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If a player or two "falls" early in the round the possibilities of a trade start to go up. Unless of course the media and draft pundits are just totally clueless and all the GM's agree those falling players are terrible. -
I expect LB to be our 1st pick in this year's draft.
Dragonborn10 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with LB now. I thought they would let Glenn walk and it would be an OT. I like the franchise tag for Glenn. -
NFL Execs say Bills should get moving on new stadium
Dragonborn10 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Go watch the Bills on the road and you will find it hard to argue the Ralph is not one of the three worst. Is the fan support top ten or even top 5 yes it is. Is the market better than Green Bay? Is it a joke Miami and Jax can not sell out their home openers? Yes this is all true. But it doesn't change the fact that the Ralph is old and not fan friendly in any way. Bathrooms, concourses, food, and beverage options are all awful. Fan behavior is terrible. Better than a couple years ago yes- but not close to the newer stadiums. Build a dome and cut the seats to 62,000. Raise the ticket price 30% and then it will be fan and corporate friendly. The drunken mobs will not be able to afford it and the families with money to spend will sign up in droves. -
Would you trade for Clady and start him at RT?
Dragonborn10 replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The starting RT is in the draft. Probably second round pick. They will go DL or OLB in the first. Then OT followed by LB, S, DE, K -
Insurance in case Aguayo is drafted in the third round or pulls a hamstring in camp

The overall lack of QB talent is killing the NFL
Dragonborn10 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly the same can be said of almost every position except perhaps WR and CB. There aren't 32 quality starting LT's, MLB's, TE's, FS, or centers. You could probably name 30 or 40 WR/DB that are at least competent to start. -
Bills get a 'B' in free agency so far
Dragonborn10 replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would have kept McKelvin. -
What if Tyrod holds out for a better contract?
Dragonborn10 replied to HelloNewman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He won't but Gilmore might Gilmore has injury history. Both sides would be smart to get something done now that would free up more cap space this year or next.
