  1. Hate this pick Hating this draft more and more Last two picks offer little to no help this year. Ragland better start and play well or Whaley is gone
  2. Would love to see WR next. No reason to draft one of the remaining QBs.
  3. Knowing that Jack lasted to the second round, a trade back to 31 with Denver that still netted them Jack and a couple picks would have been ideal. Plenty of DL options still in the second round. More picks. A risk to move back that far, but it would have been better than giving up two picks to move up and get Ragland.
  4. In today's NFL, that PK may see more snaps per game than a LB that can't play in the nickel or dime defenses.
  5. He gave up too much to move 8 spots and get a base defense LB. Shaq fell into his lap and he didn't screw it up. He pciked the worng time to move up and the wrong player to go get.
  6. Bad bad bad. They could have stayed where they were in second round and had this guy in the 4th. Gave up too much for Ragland. This guy just let's them dump Kyle next year. Very costly insurance policy for Kyle this year. No help at WR or OT.
  7. Yeah I'm with you. Too much to give up. I wanted a move up but not two fourth rounders for a guy that can only play 40% of the defensive snaps. Reed would have been the better choice. Maybe best to sit tight and take BPA. Then save those fourths to move into the third round and take the FSU PK.
  8. Bosa. People want him to be Watt because he is tall and white. His frame is significantly smaller than Watt's. He won't have the size to match up against NFL LT's. Maybe he can add weight. I don't think he can play OLB. Best chance is to play him where Mario excelled. A 4-3 DE against a slow RT.
  9. Trade bait at best. They need to find EJ's replacement and have a reasonable option if TT flames out or is unable to be signed long term. That means a second or third round pick. They need to address DL, LB, SS, RT, and WR as much or more than QB this year.
  10. Can't stand Tirico. That said football was his best sport. He was awful covering the NBA and even worse covering golf. He last only a few weeks on ESPN radio before SVP came to the rescue and then ultimately took his show. Then again I am in the minority of people that have had enough of Al Michaels too...
  11. Treadwell in the mid to low 20's and an extra pick sounds right. There may not be another WR worthy of even a second round pick. Otherwise I still like LB or DL at 19.
  12. I look at it this way. An average OT can stop a sack most of the time and can be helped by the play call, the TE or RB, and lastly the QB. But it usually takes elite talent to create a sack. Yes scheme and confusion help but most of the time it comes down to talent and effort in a one on one situation.
  13. They need wholesale changes at LB perhaps even including Preston Brown. No problem with starting from scratch with this group. I suspect they will draft no fewer than three LB's - perhaps as early as the first round. Depth of the draft is DL. Ragland or another LB in the first and then DL, SS followed by LB, LB, OT, DL. Assuming no QB or the FSU PK is taken.
  14. A SS in the first three rounds I can see. Not a true CB. Gilmore will get done in training camp. They just need Glenn to sign a long term deal. That frees up cash for Gilmore which let's them franchise TT. That is two years to determine if TT is the franchise guy.
  15. So much for competition for Preston Brown's spot... Maybe Ragland in the first?
  16. Agreed, but they can get two or three players in this draft that will contribute. I realize it is not the premise of the thread. But as you suggest an OLB, a NT, and another WR will make impacts. A healthy and productive Henderson at RT will be key as well.
  17. Who would have said a second round CB would have been a difference maker prior to last years draft? Nobody knows. Will a new DE that holds up well against the run be a "difference maker"? What about a LB that pushes Brown out of a job? If they get the FSU PK that would be a difference maker - good bye kick off specialist!
  18. Well I wouldn't call Miller a disaster. And Wood made the Pro Bowl as an alternate making his arrow pointing up from 2014. I think they are all in with Miller and Velasco as a C/G back-up. I would have no issue drafting an interior lineman late to develop. I don't think Koundjio will make the team this year. They will have the roster space to add an OT/OG. Fix the LB's and DL, grab a WR, and maybe a PK is the goal of this draft.
  19. I agree SS is a need but they may try to address later in FA. I still think LB is biggest need but also tend to agree the strength of the first round is DL. I would rather have the 2nd or third best LB over the 8th or 9the best DL if there is a run on DL early.
  20. The Bills have made some solid signings for back-up and ST's role players. Now that the first phase of FA is over, how do you assess the Bills needs. I still think NT/DT, DE, LB, LB, WR, and OT are the needs. With the FSU kicker in the mix somewhere if he lasts in the draft. Depending on Henderson's health, OT could be top priority of that list or the last. I still think LB in the first, then DL or WR depending on BPA.
  21. I'm on board with Lee. Jones is a three year project but has a cannon for an arm that will get him drafted higher than he should. A WR will be taken in the first three rounds and Miller showed enough for round three but not second round.
  22. Waiting 6 rounds to draft the best QB of all time does not make you a great GM. The Patriots are all Brady and nothing else. I give BB credit for letting go of players early and having no soul. That is what is needed in a salary cap world. For that he deserves much credit. But his FA and draft skills are no better than middle of the road.
