Many people thought if they went 5-1 down the stretch to get to 10-6 they had a shot. I think most of us are still stunned by the epic collapse. The fact is 10-6 probably is not good enough for a WC spot regardless of whether or not you think they can win the remaining four games. I just hope they win all four or lose all four. A 10-6 season with all the injuries is a true accomplishment and a sign this team is not as far away as many on this board (including myself) think. 6-10 and Pegua fires everyone.

Hughes is an OLB in the base 4-3. He is a DE in the nickel and dime which they are in more than half the time. P. Brown is a back-up to Ragland in the base defense if Ragland is healthy. These moves leave the nickel LB spot a big question mark. I'd Ragland fast enough to play the nickel LB or do we move Zach to nickel MLB and add another LB????

Look I get it TT is not the answer. I've come around to that conclusion now. But single handedly? Cat you are more reasonable usually. The defense gave up 29 straight points. Turnovers happen. The defense is supposed to hold them or get turnovers. The defense collapsed when the Bills had second half leads against Miami and Oakland. And don't tell me the three and outs were the cause. The defense wasn't gassed. They were gashed. Rex has destroyed this defense and another year of drafting his players will only make the inevitable change back to a 4-3 that much harder. McLovin and Stevie were worse, but I agree otherwise. They were plays that just don't happen 99% of the time. This was a meltdown of epic proportions but not the searing pain of those two plays.

If Rex starts Cardale, Whaley will get fired for sure. Cardale is going to suck big league and if that is seen before season's end Whaley is gone for missing on yet another QB.

The corners are fine. The safety play is killing this team. Even with A. Williams they are not good. Ragland pick looks so bad now with how well Z. brown has played. They knew A. Williams was a question mark and did nothing. This could be the issue that gets Whaley fired.

This defense can be fixed with minimal draft picks and FA moves in a single year. 1. First fire Rex and the entire defensive staff 2. Switch to a 4-3 3. Sign Z. Brown and KW to extensions 4. Try and bring back A. Williams 5. Franchise Gilmore 6. Move Lawson and Washington to DE, Dareus and KW to DT, Hughes plays OLB in base and DE in nickel/dime 7. If A. Williams retires, sign a FA safety - even consider Revis and a position switch 8. Draft the best safety in round 1 9. Get rid of Graham and P. Brown 10. If Z. Brown leaves add another LB via draft or FA ** After safety in round 1, the rest of the draft is for offense - QB, TE, WR, RT, QB, and TE - with a contract extension for Groy +/1 an OLB.

1. First there is not a QB worth tanking for 2. The key to the draft is to trade down and get more picks - the Bills needs two safeties, a RT, a QB or two, a WR or two, and a LB or two. And that is if they keep Gilmore. And those are all needs for starters. If they move on from TT, they are in full rebuild mode for two seasons. Which means Kyle is gone, Shady won't have anything left, Watkins will be a FA and will want the hell out, Richie and Wood are gone, and Glenn probably starts to decline. Best case scenario, they switch to a 4-3 and Lawson and Ragland are stars, they bring back Z Brown, and they draft the next Earl Thomas.

Shady - and he wasn't a FA. The Bills traded for him and he signed an extension to be here. Watkins - you can see the talent and the frustration Richie - he is playing at an All-Pro level and he signed a fair contract extension Kyle - Bills need to extend him now Z. Brown - three down LB Gilmore - he lost his way early in the season but he is showing he is a top 5-10 DB. He will be hard to replace Full disclosure - my boys have Gilmore, Dareus, and Watkins jerseys.

TT and the defense in this game were mutually exclusive failures. The three and outs did not put a tired defense back on the field. Oakland scored very quickly and it had nothing to do with being gassed. The defense lost this game. 29 straight points. If that is the QB's fault, then how does the rest of the offense not get the same blame? The defense can not force a FG after a turnover? How about a single turnover forced by the defense? At this moment I can not recall the last turnover the defense forced. Ok, MAJ you win, TT was awful in this game in the second half. He missed a wide open Watkins early when he didn't look his way and missed him late on a horrible throw. He doesn't look like he is getting any better. A. Lynn seems to be calling plays as best he can with this offense. I'm ok with blowing it all up. But it can't be just TT. Rex has to go and this horrible defense. He has completely ruined the defense. Now we are stuck with a fat and slow first round pick and a slow second round pick coming off knee surgery with no player on the roster capable of playing even below average at the safety position.

Gruden. Give him complete control.

I'm done with TT too. However the rest of the league sees what we do. Therefore there is no market for him. The Bills should let EJ walk and renegotiate TT's contract. He has no leverage. Let him on a reduced contract, Jones (who I think sucks), and a rookie/FA battle it out for the starting job. If he won't renegotiate like Fitz wouldn't, then say good bye and good luck

1. Let go of Rex and the entire staff including Reed; maybe keep Crossman - I really don't think special teams coaches matter one bit and if anything our special teams are fine 2. Agree - find a HC that will run the 4-3 3. Let Gilmore walk 4. Put Watkins on IR now and get the second surgery he needs 5. Bring A. Williams back 6. Get rid of P. Brown 7. Sign Z. Brown now 8. Don't overspend on Lorax - he was a flash in the pan and won't command more than the veteran minimum on the free market 9. Draft safety, QB, DB, TE 10. If they can get Woods on a decent deal bring him back too

I thought they had it. I thought Rex would start to bring pressure and they would get a turnover. This loss is all on Rex. Yes, I'm over TT as well now. He made some nice enough throws early but was terrible in the second half.
