Move Glenn to RT, sign a mid-level WR, draft Howard at 10. Then defense and a QB project. Flame away Better yet trade back and take Howard at 15-17. Add a pick to rebuild the secondary.

Watson had terrible footwork, very slow release, but decent accuracy.

Move him to 4-3 DE and he has a chance. Right now he is closer to Erik Flowers than even Chris Kelsay. Looking forward to a new DC and the return of the 4-3.

I don't buy the argument of going to the AFC East as a competitor. Obviously Mangini did. Hell BB did it from Jets to Patriots. They have to know that Brady is not going to last much longer and without Brady so goes BB.

Let me give you a few reasons... Weiss, Crennel, Mangini, McDaniels, Pioli, and to some degree Dimitroff Only one of those would be considered to have had any success without BB and Tommy.

Pats defense looks tough to beat. I think Pittsburgh is our only hope but Brady will probably put 38 on that Steelers D. It will take a great game from Roethlisberger and a fully inflated fumble to beat the Pats.

Agreed. The HC doesn't have to OC or DC to be successful. Pete didn't develop Wilson. The only thing that matters is fixing the defense and that is easily done with a switch to a 4-3 and upgrades at the safety positions - one FA and one first round draft pick.

I agree Detroit played terribly. But instead of 7-0 it should have been 4th and 2 again. The block in the back drive led to more points. The RB got ten more yards after the foul. Seattle would have still had a first down but it would have been pushed back 20 yards from the spot of the foul. Collinsworth praised the Seattle RB for the stiff-arm to the helmet which is now illegal. Terrible. The only answer is replay. Get the calls correct. Want drama? See if Pete goes for it again on 4th and 2! And to be fair, the refs made some very very good boundary and catch calls during the game. Detroit DB also had a facemask non-call later in the game that should have given Seattle 15 more yards. They are human and the game is too fast and the teams too closely matched to let these calls go. Oh and another thing, how were those calls on Boldin unnecessary roughness and not unsportsmanlike conduct? The first seemed textbook hitting a guy on the sidelines. The second could have gone either way but both looked like cheap shots. Oh and nice job not knowing the rule Al "I have been washed up and living on my reputation for years" Michaels.

The refs have gifted the Seahawks a victory. Missed facemask. Missed block in the back. Missed stiff arm to the facemask. These are not even difficult judgement calls to make. The NFL must adopt the Belichick proposal.
