Agree that they had 8 in the box... Best call would have been Graham up the seam against the safety. A draw play would have been nice too....

Gilmore and McKelvin shouw start, A. Williams is a safety playing corner. He can't turn and run with WR's. Searcy should play SS. No more Scott. When they need three safeites then it shoudl be Wilson and Searcy with Byrd. When they two LB's then play Sheppard or Morrison with Barnett. Enough of the big nickel concept - it isn't working.

Kelsay will be fine. Should be better against the run than Anderson. Carrington should start at DE though.

1. A reasonable trade for Flynn may not be a bad idea...His signing bonus has already been paid and his contract wasn't ridiculous if I remember. I would consider a trade of Fitz and a 3rd rounder for him. No more than a 3rd rounder. I really don't think he is the answer but he probably is more accurate than Fitz and I don't trust Carroll's coaching decisions. 2. Cousins would not be a bad guy to take a flier on. Played a pro-style/3 wide offense at Michigan St. Not a spread offense QB,. 3. Romo would be a serious upgrade over anything we have had since Bledsoes' first 8 games. A second round pick woudl be fair. 4. The rest are no better or far worse than Fitz.

All those coaches and only one decent 8-10 game stretch of QB play by Drew Bledsoe in all those years...Maybe the common thread is QB play and FO evaluation of QB's. Offensive minded and defensive minded coaches alike have all failed. The only constant - the QB play has been putrid!

Dam that's our problem on defense...we ahve been only playing 10 guys And on offense the route tree stops at 8... Like Bill Clinton said, its arithmetic!

I dropped $800 for tickets and another $1200 in plane tickets to fly me and my two boys 9 and 10 to the game. The defense better show up because I will show up!

Wilson is worse in coverage than Whitner and that is saying a lot. I would rather see A. Williams moved to safety. Play a mostly two deep coverage scheme with McKelvin at CB until they are eliminated from the playoff race then start a healthy Brooks down the stretch.

I know RW, during a brief period of lucency, may be the only one from the current management team that can remember SuperBowl 25 but maybe they should watchc the film. The Giants stopped our offense with LB's. We stopped ourselves by letting Kelly continue to throw the ball when Thruman may have run for 200 yards. Does any of this sound familiar??? The good teams are now spreading people out and running the ball. They are spreading people out and still putting a TE or two on the field. We have a FB and 4 QB's on our roster. We have no TE that can beat people deep. We do have two or three very good RB's but a coach that refuses to run them. We make the weakest unit on the team even worse by playing Scott at LB. It is the same guy beating us the same way 25 yrs later.

No actually I don't remember that. Pretty sure he made two good plays one of them historic and has been living on reputation ever since. He is an awful LB. He can't stop the run, he can't conver, and he isn't that great at pass rushing.

At least McKelvin can stay with guys. He has the speed to saty with anyone. His ball skills are non-existent. But A. Williams can't cover anything at this point.

Yes but Spiller should be starting and I think it is fairly obvious to most people. FJ should be the relief guy after Spiller rips off a 25 yard run. There is no reason to keep Spiller off the field except for being winded. The reason he is not startign is that Gailey has no respect in the locker room. FJ is the sould of the team and he can't disrespect him even if it costs the best player on the team important carries.

A. Williams will be FS next year. They won't retain Byrd over Levitre and they need ot spend some money on LB's in FA. I would start McKelvin at CB. Bench Wilson in favor of Searcy. A. Williams will be the nickel unti next year. McKelvin may be resigned on the cheap but I would bet Brooks will be the starter next year at DB.

I would rather we not have 3 QB's and one QB/WR on the roster than worry about having two kickers. Time to let Thigpen go and add a LB.

Do you know how hard it is to find a franchise QB? They haven't even tried in three years. A rookie will still take a few years to develop. There are no good FA options that I know of. LB's can be upgraded in one year. And rookies can plug an play. Our DB's ned experience. Our LG needs to be resigned. I would let Byrd walk at this point and spend my money elsewhere. A. Williams can be moved to FS. The kid from LSU, Brooks, recovering from foot surgery may be the heir apparent for the other starting CB spot.

Dareus is the least of this team's problems...the high of your team and community rallying around him has likely worn off and now the reality of a lost brother is setting in...i doubt he cares what we as fans think about his desire

Why would Wade come back? He can win a SB with the Texans and then maybe get one last shot at a HC position. AJ Smith should have given the HC job to Wade and kept Turner as OC. The Chargers would be much better. No one can win with Jerry Jones as GM. Not to steer the thread a different way but why do you think so? Chicago will win their division and is a reasonable SB candidate and Cinci will make the WC.
