  1. Brooks is the fastest DB we have. He should be on the field over Justin Rogers who is just crap. McKelvin should start over Williams with Williams and Brooks the nickel and dime DB's. This entire defensive coaching staff needs to go.
  2. There are no franchise QB's in next years draft...Geno Smith is the closest and he may not be that good...Great accuracy which would be refreshing here in Buffalo but average arm stregth and a spread offense.
  3. Watt looks like he is on roids. He will flame out in a year or so... And I think Mr. Rucker has nothing to prove...
  4. Have you seen them up close? McKelvin and Levitre have the best chance. Wood is playing well but Mangold and Pouncey will be the centers chosen if on reputation alone.
  5. Just say no to Barkely...He is Sanchez with even less arm stength. Very poor pocket presence.
  6. Now even the medical staff looks bad. Our star $100 million dollar player has to get a secret second opinion and surgery. Just awesome. The whole team from owner to ball boy is bush league...
  7. Reid is done as well. All good things come to an end.
  8. Barkley is a second tier guy. This team needs LB's and lots of them. If they had an average defense they would be no less than 5-2.
  9. Romo is much much much better than Sanchez
  10. 1. Montana 2. Brady 3. Unitas 4. Young 5. Manning 6. Elway 7. Marino 8. Favre And then a large group including....Kelly, Moon, Aikman, Staubach, Brees, Otto Graham, Rodgers(if he keeps this pace up), Starr, Tarkenton, YA Tittle, Roethlisberger And then a group of very good... Namath, Bledsoe, Bradshaw, Griese, K. Warner, E Manning, Fouts, Esiason and others... FYI Joe Ferguson is still 36th all time in passing yards and TD's...that kind of surpised me but he played a long time...
  11. Maybe they rested Levitre this week so his wrist was in good shape to sign the extension???
  12. Trade for a LB. This team can still make the playoffs in the weak AFC. There must be a team that has a veteran LB that is unlikely to make the playoffs. Give up a 3rd round pick for a starting LB. No sense in firing Chan now. If a coaching move was going to be made it would have been on Monday. We all knew the LB's were horrible. Why wait until the draft to get an unproven LB?
  13. Trade intensity for intelligence every time.... Wanny is old and broken down. Gailey is just a little off. He has the right idea. This is a passing league. He spreads people out and throws the ball. The Pats do it, the Packers, the Saints...they all do it. Where Gailey has failed to adjust is that Fitz is not good enough to carry a team AND he doesn't need to. We have the O-line and the RB's to run the ball even in the spread. Wanny is just awful. Saying the Giants one the SuperBowl rushing only four guys is the same as Dilfer winning the SB. They are the exceptions. Great QB's win. Brady didn't lose his defense lost the game to another great QB. Complex and creative defenses win games. The 3-4 allows this to a greater extent than the 4-3. Gailey just hired the wrong guy in Edwards to run it and one more draft was needed to get the LB's. I have to believe if Von Miller had fallen to us he would be starting at LB, Dareus would be at DE and 100 million dollars would have been spent elsewhere.
  14. Spiller is a threat to go the distance every play. He should be getting twice as many runs as Fred. Everyone except Chan and Fred know that. Hell Fred probably knows that too. McKelvin had a good pre-season and one bad game gets him benched. A. Williams has had 5 bad games. Rogers is awful in coverage. McKelvin at least has the physical tools to match up. That being said I have really high hopes for Brooks at CB.
  15. I don't understand the contract worries for any of these guys...The Bills are not cap strapped. Most of their players are awful and don't get paid that much to begin with. RW opened up the vault for a few guys but there is still plenty of cap room to sign Levitre and Byrd and a LB or two next year. Why do you care how much Fitz makes? Did his contract really sway draft decisions away from taking a QB? This team had so many holes and they thought Fitz would at least be servicabel while they added other pieces to the roster. All you Dalton and Newton fans...how are you feeling right now? How much of Dalton's success is AJ Green?
  16. WR - Johnson, Graham, Jones RB - Spiller TE - Chandler OL - Glenn, Levitre, Wood, Urbik, Hairston QB - Fitzpatrick DL M Williams, K Williams, Dareus, Kelsay OLB Bradham and Morrison MLB Barnett SS Searcy FS Byrd DB Gilmore and McKelvin Nickel Brooks or A Williams Dime Brooks, A Wiliams, McGee Jackson of course gets his carries but Spiller should be the unquestioned starter and Jackson the relief back. A Williams should get time as a safety in a three safety dime package Scott should not see the field any longer. He is a tweener. He is too small to play LB and too slow to cover anything. I would rather see Wilson or Searcy play the "big nickel" LB spot. Flame me all you want but McKelvin needs to get back on the field as a DB. He played horribly against the Jets but so did Gilmore and Williams. He is the only DB with elite speed and quickness. He should move to the inside and blanket Welker against the Pats while Gilmore gets A. Johnson of the Texans and Lloyd of the Pats. Pears should lose his starting spot to Hairston. Hairston has been great in run blocking and will do fine in pass blocking at RT. If Glenn is healthy this line-up will allow running right, left, and middle. The OL truly has the potential to be special if healthy. Give me a little more Dickerson and no more Lee Smith. Lastly in a two WR set it is time to see Graham over Jones. Jones may be the better blocker but this team needs to at least try to stretch the field. I know Fitz has accuracy issues but they still need to try.
  17. If sore wrist equates to torn ligaments then yes this could have affected his play. Maybe the guy is really hurt and has been trying to not let his new teammates down.
  18. Your money does not pay for anything except RW's family inheritance. Please do not delude yourself that you or your opinion matter.
  19. That has been the strategy for 12 years and it isn't working. At least Nix is keeping the guys that can play. We all fooled ourselves into believing they had enough talent. We all knew the LB's were awful but didn't think the DL would be this bad. We knew the WR's were awful but they have been at least adequate. What boggles the mind is the lack of adaptation. Gailey refuses to keep running it and Wanny still drops 7 and 8 leaving marginal QB's plenty of time to find guys wide open. We pass block well and run well. Rushing the passer is the only thing that matters on defense. It is the only way to stop NFL offesnes. The rules make it so. They need to blitz. They are already givnig up huge plays w/o the blitz.
