Don't agree with the running game assessment. The Steelers did not stack the box. When the Bills spread them out there were only 6 defenders in the box and they still couldn't run the ball. the O-line did not move anyone today. Spiller is just not a very good RB. He is an outstanding athlete that can break a long one at any moment. However he can not move the pile, nor see the holes very well either. He is not polished in any way. And at this point in his career doubt he ever will be.

Yes this is good. Easley will finally show he is a fantastic gunner and can make a decent living doing that for another three-four years. I think Graham is playing for his job at this point. If he can't step up today against that secondary then it is time to add him to the list of Nix failures.

Serious question... at OLB or DE? I'm still unsure what defense we play nor that it really matters putting a label on it. Seems we play more 4-3. I like Hughes as a cheaper alternative at DE. I would pay big money to play him at OLB. As above he get's franchised I'm sure.

First remember this is a PR award. Kiko's heroics were in the first four-five games. If the Jets make a playoff run and the Bills are out of the playoff picture Kiko will get less and less coverage nationally.

As CJallDay said - we are all true fans on this site...some a bit more realistic/pessimistic/optimistic than others... what is true for all is that we hurt inside...we have to tell our kids what is was like to have a winning team...My children are 10 and 11 and they wonder why I cheer for them...

Only trade that is acceptable if for a LG who has multiple years left on his current contract. A player that can walk at the end of the year has almost no value. I am not even sure the team that gets him in the trade can use the franchise tag on him. Then again does he even have a position on this team? A. Williams is the FS. Byrd and Williams are not SS's. I thought Byrd had only done limited individual drills and scout team defense leading up to that game. He has not even lined up with the "starters" in practice. It was the Browns. It was a game that should have been over in the third quarter. The defense played well enough to win. The punter and EJ's injury cost them the game. I suspect Marrone thought this is great I get a Pro-Bowl safety back with ten days to practice for AJ Green. This whole board will shat themselves when Byrd picks off Dalton next week. I'm sick of all the lifetime minimum wagers complaining about Byrd. He deserves top 3 safety money and the Bills should have extended him prior to 2012 season as others have pointed out. WR's take years to develop. You can write off a RB or a LB in a year or two. WR's and DT's take a long time. He deserves time. With Woods drawing more attention I think Graham's opportunities will increase over the course of the season.

Powell has been awful. Hangtime and consistency is much much more important than distance. He shanked more kicks than Moorman. I was a big proponent of getting rid of Moorman but I would not be opposed to a tryout. I would sign Kluwe.

Powell has to go. He is awful. Admit the mistake and move on. He is good for a shank a game. Hopkins had better be ready to go next week or they should put him on IR. They are so thin on the offensive line and QB. That roster spot should be used for a third QB or a lineman.
