6'4" 205lb 4.3 Range 40 SEC WR No One is Talking About
Dragonborn10 replied to Mark80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This draft is stocked. Bills need to trade down early and often. There is so little true talent on the roster now. You can make arguments for upgrades at every position. -
who thinks we will go OT in the 1st round
Dragonborn10 replied to Braedenstearns's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was thinking OT for a while but that won't happen unless they trade down. There are too many QB's that will be drafted in the first 6 picks. That pushes all the other talent down. Watkins, Mack, or hell even Clowney may be there at # 9. That should give us ample opportunity to trade down. Once they have an additional second round pick then they can go BPA. -
1 Bold Offseason Prediction
Dragonborn10 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The time to trade CJ was last year when he had two years left on his rookie deal. I would love to see Buffalo trade #9 and their second for Graham - then make him highest paid TE in the league. Resign Byrd. Find a middle of the road LG FA. Then draft a couple LB's, a RT, another TE, and a tall WR. Maybe a project QB on day . -
The Bills need some nastiness
Dragonborn10 replied to TheMunsch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We need better players. We need bigger linebackers. We need bigger WR's. We need TE's that can run. We need to figure out whoever thinks Lee Smith belongs in the NFL and get rid of him. Then we can worry about character. -
If EJ looks bad the first 8 games, Marrone will be wishing Pettine took him to Cleveland.
-
People are looking down on Cleveland from Buffalo? That is the grease fire laughing at the dumpster fire....
-
6'7" Guard? No thank you.
-
How do you separate Decker from Manning??? Use the dead money that would be wasted by cutting SJ and keep him and sign Byrd. Add a TE threat and a legit LG. Trade #9 pick for Graham or trade down and take Ebron.
-
Mack just flat out scares me. He appears to be a one dimensional pass rushing OLB playing in a very weak conference. He has boom or bust written all over him. He would be very hard to pass up at 9. He could be awesome and the Bills have needs at LB especially if Scwartz intends on leaving Kiko at MLB. I see a run on QB's early and would not be surprised if our are taken in the top 8. This pushes the talent level down and should give the Bills ample opportunity to trade down. In the end I pass in Mack and prefer more of a run stuffer at LB, a WR, Ebron, or an OT round 1.

1. Trade down a few spots and hopefully still get Ebron 2. I would be ok with Watkins at 9 3. If no trade down available, I still probably go Ebron over best available OT especially if a couple are already off the board. Wildcards for me is how does Mack fit into a Scwartz led defense and how many QB's get drafted 1-8. If three get picked plus Clowney that means the second best non QB is now getting picked at number 5 and the whole talent pool is pushed down. It is not inconceivable that 4 could go before pick 9 with Carr, Bortles, Bridgewater, and Manziel all possibilities. With the Texans, Jags, Raiders, Browns, and Vikings needing QB's it is possible a huge run on QB's could happen rivaling 1983. Throw in St. Louis at number 2(who should go WR or OL) but might also go QB since this a luxury pick from the Redskins and the top 8 of the draft could be crazy.

Best draft in the last 5 years
Dragonborn10 replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You can look at things so many ways. Golden Tate is the fourth best WR on their team, fifth best if Sidney Rice is healthy. Okung has had difficulty staying healthy and is hardly an lit LT. But Thomas and Chancellor are elite safeties... If only the Bills had two elite safeties on their roster... Oh wait maybe that is the one thing the Bills do have... -
C.J. Mosley or Khalil Mack

Thank you sir. They have got to fix the line. Address LB in FA. -

Fixed that sentence for you Why Gilmore, Robey, and McKelvin are a good starting three. Resign Byrd. We need LB's that can cover TE's, that can hit WR's, and can rush the QB. -
Should Bills target Branden Albert in FA?
Dragonborn10 replied to Solomon Grundy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LB and WR in FA, OT in the draft -
As another poster stated the game you saw is what you see when the guys wearing numbers in the 50's look like guys that should be linebackers. You are jaded and misguided because the Bills have lined up guys like Coy Wire, Poz, and Kiko for a decade to play LB. We are outgunned before the first snap. Our NT is 50 pounds smaller than needed. Our MLB is 20 pounds too small. Our SS is 20 pounds too small. Our WR's are three inches too short and a step too slow. What we saw tonight is what true talent looks like. Big, fast, and having lots of fun.

Everyone of Seattle's linebackers are bigger and just as fast as Kiko. Hell I'm not sure Chancellor isn't bigger than Kiko. My God they are good. We need to bring in at least three new bigger guys in FA and the draft. You may be right and Thomas may be better too but the Bills may never have the chance to sign them. The Bills have an All-Pro FS in Byrd. If you want to give up on him, give him away for nothing, and then move A. Williams to FS what do you do at SS? That just leaves yet another gaping hole on the defense. Searcy can't cover. He can't even tackle that well. -

Safeties are important. Pay Byrd top dollar and move on -
Really poor choice. He should have gone old school or new age college but to go with Shanahan's kid is just dumb. There is no way to know how much his father did or did not get involved in the day to day and in game decisions. He did not develop RG3 as a pocket passer. I feel sad for Pettine.

Levy doesn't deserve to be in the HOF. I'm still stunned he is in. How can you explain he is in the HOF and Tome Flores is not? I think Levy is the reason they did not win the first one. Polian deserves to be in the HOF in his place. Tasker does not deserve the HOF over guys like Tim Brown or Marvin Harrison or even special teams guys like Morten Anderson or Adam Veneteri. Tasker was a great contributor but there are so many truly special players it would be a shame if he made it and one of them did not. He is on the wall and that is as far as he will ever go unless they increase the number of finalists and dilute the talent level.

Andre Reed Elected into the Pro Football HOF
Dragonborn10 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't agree with Aeneas Williams over Charles Haley but Williams was special too. Have no issues with the rest especially Walter Jones. So thankful Dungy did not make it. -
Richardson was solid to dominant at a position it often takes years to develop. He is going to be a handful for year to come. Kiko was the middle line backer on another historically bad run defense. Hope he moves to WLB and we upgrade at MLB in the 4-3 and he continues to play one of the nickel LB's.
