  1. Posted yesterday the best they might be able to do is a mid round pick next year. Good move.
  2. I will take talent over character any day and twice on Sunday.
  3. Hackett needs to be relieved of play calling duty. Marrone needs to call the plays. EJ and this WR group needs experience at the helm.
  4. Trade down with someone who wants one of the QB's. Take Seferian-Jenkins. Use extra pick on Aaron Murray or Mettenberger.
  5. Not being facetious. I don't think he nets higher than a 6th round pick- maybe not even that high. Who gives up a draft pick for a WR that wasn't very good last year, has only one year left on a big contract, may or may not have attitude issues(for the record I don't think he does), and his best years are long gone....
  6. 1. Trade up for Mack 2. Stay at 9 and take Ebron 3. Trade back three or four spots and get Ebron, Martin, or Barr
  7. I want them to stay as much as anyone but where does Buffalo get 850 million or more??? I would love to see a downtown stadium with shopping and restaurants. There are a lot more NY voters in NYC for Cuomo to answer to than there are in WNY.
  8. Goodell announces need for new stadium. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10897460/roger-goodell-says-buffalo-bills-need-new-stadium-order-remain-buffalo-area County officials say the RW is fine with some paint and a couple of air fresheners over the urinals. New owner says I'm not putting a dime of my own money down. You love your Bills you pay for it. Two years from now knowing they will never have the money for a new stadium the county and state default on the lease by not doing some minor repair work on the scoreboard or the field turf. Moving trucks show up the next day.... This is how it all starts folks. And the NFL lays the blame on the city, county, and state. The state then turns around and lures the Jets back to NYC.
  9. Love the trade down for Martin or Ebron idea. Spiller is just not that good. Can't beat out a 30 year old RB from nowhere. Would still rather see DE and TE in the second round with the extra pick and a RB in third or fourth.
  10. I want no part of Evans even at 9. He is not a good route runner. WR is not a great need position. Would be a waste to trade up. Best thing that could happen for Buffalo is he and Watkins are off the board early pushing the OT's and maybe Manziel down the list. Trade down possibilities galore in that situation.
  11. What if the committee says $400 million now is worth more than the franchise over the next decade. The county and committee could agree that relocation is in the best interest of the community now if they feel relocation is inevitable. If the parties know there is no hope of a new stadium being built they might decide to pocket the relocation money sooner rather than letting the Bills walk away a decade from now for nothing.
  12. Mathews has a chance to be great. Great players make great teams. I would still take Ebron at 9 but would be perfectly happy if they went OT.
  13. I want to see Ebron running seam routes taking the MLB or SS deep. That clears the middle for guys like Goodwin and SJ. Both of them can be devastating on short crossing routes.
  14. But, but they signed a two down MLB, the worst offensive lineman on the Rams, and a nickel CB as well as re-signed the worst starting TE in the league with the money they saved....
  15. If Houston takes Clowney, and the Raiders and Cleveland go after Mack, Watkins, or Evans, then there is a good chance Manziel falls to 9. It only takes Jacksonville to take Bortles or Bridgewater plus a run on OT's by St. Louis and Atlanta. This would be an absolute dream scenario for Buffalo. Put Manziel up for the highest bidder.
  16. Agree they played mostly 4-3 last year. They rarely lined up in a 3-4. Perhaps if Carrington had stayed healthy they would have played more 3-4. Oh yeah and Pettine's scheme couldn't stop the run any better or worse than the last four DC's they have had. The problem is Kyle Williams is terrible at stopping the run and the Bills have played guys the size of strong safeties at MLB. Whaley/Schwartz have already upgraded the defense by moving Kiko outside and signing Spikes.
  17. 1. EJ to become the franchise QB or the next ten things don't make a dam bit of difference this year 2. TE 3. DE 4. RT 5. ILB Fillers - Backup Center, another dime DB, younger RB to take FJ's place next year
  18. I think the IRS would have something to say about it as it would be seen as an attempt to avoid estate and capital gains taxes.
  19. It's EJ or bust fellas... He has 16 games, maybe less if she craps the bed, to prove he can win. In today's NFL, two seasons is plenty. I hope they draft Aaron Murray in the fourth round. If EJ can't win give Murray a few games. If they don't draft a QB this year and EJ falters then they need to draft two next year and let them fight it out.
  20. Chicago. Cubs play the day before. Me and my sons are making the trip from Portland. May talk the wife to going to Oakland game but I won't take my boys. Denver is a wait and see.
  21. Sorry but when did having a mole removed become public domain? I would have said, "It's none of your god dam business. Next question."
  22. Spiller is the perfect guy to franchise twice. Use him two more seasons, pay him well but avoid a long term deal, avoid a huge signing bonus, and avoid a cap hit in the later years of a long contract/... then let him walk. No reason whatsoever to sign him to a long term deal.
  23. I prefer Aaron Murray in round 4 but if they can trade down somewhere and get an extra third, I would take him in the third.
