They lost to a better team with a better veteran QB. Move on. Not sure why everyone is tearing apart the DB's with no pass rush all day. EJ made some plays. He missed some too. He is much better than last year. I doubt he will ever be terrible accurate but he is getting better. Next week he is going to run right through/over a DB instead of sliding.

Formations and plays look great. The guard play is still awful. Screen game looked a little better. EJ was hit and miss today. WR/TE holding penalties were killers. I will take a top 5 scoring defense over a top 5 defense based on yards any day. Turnovers and YPA rule the day.

Spikes can't cover Gates or Woodhead. If he plays and it is a pass he should just blitz right up the middle. Rivers has no escapability. They are weakest at OT but the interior line is not much better. Send three up the middle and prevent Rivers from stepping up in the pocket. Then drop everyone else in zone and keep everything in front of them. They don't have the running game to win. The crowd noise will be a factor. A few crucial holding penalties should kill some drives. Get up by a couple scores in the third and then unleash hell...

I'm not saying it is insurmountable. Just a positive factor for the Bills. Their line is still not good but held up well against a mostly four man pass rush from Seattle today. Their WR's are very good but if Mathews is out they will be one dimensional. Rivers is a top 10 QB, maybe top 6. Their D-line is not good and the running game should be ok. Seattle seemed to abandon the run too early today.
