  1. I did not mean to over simplify. But being thrown into coverage that is waiting for the bell ringing hit caused Evans to shy. Trusting the QB. Manuel screwed his receivers doing just that. They might have held a silent WR solidifying protest for all I know. Perhaps Tyrod last year earned the same. But Yes it was obvious indeed about Evans before and after he was traded (?) he was not going to run those crosses and or lay out for the ball.
  2. not the first year if i recall. bUt yes he is a Big Daddy up front
  3. He as a poor route runner unless thrown over him at that point in time. He had another gear you rarely see. But getting off blocks and route running? nope. not so much when with Buffalo
  4. Well. thats still aint half bad is it? and Bills did what last year with WRs? Nothing really. whilst all blame TT piss poor moves generally speaking because all about picks and cap and the Vision.
  5. Tis true enough Sage One. He was a good fit conceptually with Tyrod at the least. Would allowing time to pass and keeping him in Buffalo worked out as well? not sure. I would have kept R Woods too.His only true fault was injury just to counter and have a poke, are you in these " league circles" ? kinda gross when misinterpreted he would have died . he knew and so should you. worst route when poorly thrown ever. and back then MLB or even box safety could just stand there and cleaver his head clean off with only a 15 yard PI penalty.
  6. What ! Are you sure ?
  7. But that was in 2015. Like i mentioned at some point, i hope, Eagles Coaching may have helped the Foles realize a bit more of his potential. He certainly showed up when it mattered. is that something he will be able to carry forward? Heck i do not know. But Bills should be considering that bet whos obsessing : ) Its a hypothetical discussion. J.Fisher..ouch ouch ouch. you noticed that as well ?
  8. There was no way he was going to start over Wentz. Not many would or should. That was just a matter time. Philly was smart to get Wentz playing asap. and even smart for picking a guy who likely exceeded expectations ! It is a fair opinion
  9. They draft Darnold, the discussion will be "mute" Just looking at scenarios. I thinks Foles should be in the FO Dialogue
  10. i suspected. But some folks are not as sharp as me. Hence my attempt to clarify for the Others.... churn the roster. i got no problem with that. Guy seems half smart too. i do think thats prerequisite of late. Same with Vontae Davis. speaks very well about defenses and his experience with different Coaches back to College.
  11. He beat the Patriots. That's the Big Boys and you know it's true. they were likely cheating and he won the game. He won the game. I watched it on TV am kinda serious here How long has he been with the Eagles and their current Coaching staff? Maybe he has learned something with a Coaching staff that won their first Superbowl with a freekin back up. Perhaps that whole team was elevated after Kelly was purged and the GM was moved? I take everything in context as best i am able. I do know enough of his history and Eagles may have taken a risk signing him for that contract. But he became successful with them, even knowing Wentz was the future. History is a method of prediction. But the Kid is trending up. Heck if i am sure he will play as well as he did in the superbowl. But that is the standard of excellence unless you lose the game
  12. i like democratic dialogue. the rest of you can screw off
  13. wat is going on here !?
  14. We can disagree on your phrasing of marginally competent. I think Foles can play decent ball. Still want to draft one. But I am not saying that is the best answer to bring Foles in. I am just cool with it. Build the receivers and the line and see if he can elevate the QB room with the new Coaching staff. I would give a first. Gotta trust Beane. for all I know they are going to sell the whole farm including the carrots to get up into the top 5. and i hate that thought who do yu pick and what are you trading then?
  15. not very uplifting report Yolo. Hope they draft some speed with hands now that Ivory is in place.
  16. sure is . once in a great while Domdab99 makes funny. Good Kid
  17. I know full well statistics will make your point. I just do not think that way. To much context to evaluate for me. But i feel he can run an offense for a couple years better than decently. The search does not end with Foles. It is obviously contagious !! Trying to trust Beane here.
  18. Bills have had difficulty with QBs for sure ! You are justified in you opinion here. I agree with you. I just think he might bring some great experience with him, as well as a skill set that would work in Buffalo under the new staff. But I am admitted Homer at Times
  19. at what year does The Light Coming On Switch for a QB like Foles expire? The Coaching Changes in Philly have done him some good i might suggest
  20. there's the key. Wentz, and Philly's confidence in his health.
  21. so he was cheating.. He has learned how to win under some very good Coaching as well. To have a backup come in and win the SB is pretty darned fantastic. and he has to win a playoff to get there. That is credible work IMHO. Hard for me to believe folks consider this a poor concept. It really is. Even with your points. QBs develop for as long as they play if they are worth a hoot. He has shown that he can play with the big boys. Actually against the very best in the NFL for the last few years. Hmm.. not being harsh, just being saying my say "within reason" seems to be differing to each of us. Foles may not be the best option. ( I am biased. And have my reasons ) but it certainly should be on the Table and Bills talking to Philly. gotta have options. always have plan A,B.and C etc. YEP. Bills are setting up a new Offense and our Line blows donkey.. balloons up. I do not need to see another Bills Rookie QB get fried in the fire. Keep one in the pot for as long as you are able.
  22. Great post on both counts. This is a new mix. First year didn't go so swimmingly with the Offensive for plenty of reasons. They have to fix that asap. But we really have little to go on as to how this threesome see the path. Part of this years Offseason excitement for me, and i hope others ? Plenty of work to do
  23. I have too. Especially with the Jets. Ivory is a good pick up. Marrone still cannot produce a quality O line. idiot Draft one to compete with Cadet or whomever hes and older player i believe, and likely has reached his ceiling. Good ST player though
  24. ha haha excellent funnery
