I do not think anyone felt confident about his health at that point. jets took a risk . I like the Kid , even with his early troubles . QBs mature. Mentally able to grow has got to be one of the biggest features you want in a QB after tangibles. wish him well. and i would have taken TB over McCarron if i was smarter and with hindsight at my disposal ! and i liked AJM coming over .

HIs relationship with his Father was intense.
