Good post and nice interpretation of how Team has rolled into where it is today. Hard not to be pissed at Ryan still. next season will really define Beanes vision. fingers crossed he gets it done bringing in enough talent to field an offense worth taking note. point taken about Frazier. I might suggest knowledge is just one feature of a DC. Leslie has a ton of it. there are always areas where a Coach is lacking. There is a reason he is no longer a HC. nor should he be. But it got McD up and running and that might be enough for now. as with any position ? Keep looking to upgrade. But Frazier has seen quite a bit and surely is a good resource. Is he a good game day or week in week out Coach for The Defense ? not at this juncture. Try again later because i will not put the effort into prove it via links lol But Brian has been described as versatile multi and week to week scheming. and that what i expected. So yea i have some bias and patience. If Daboll, at this stage of the game is not listening ? Then shame on him. i will call it a rookie season that needs to pick up the pace offensively and keep Allen alive for next season at least

I do not know if agree about being so quick to move Robiskie up. No reason he should not be helping Daboll succeed right now.Team game and all. with that much exp between those two , i might hope they could sort this out in short order, with what tools they have ( players) but thank you for bringing up the likely logical next man up ! good to consider what might transpire .

i might add, the O line is much better at the run game. per player over last season. Miller was more of a grinder and Mills sucked at PP but fooled some folks with his run game stat graded out favorably, Ducasse even better if i recall ?? Get good at something Bills ! I think run game should be the focus of Coaches, Practice and game planning. best hope of survival for all. maybe even some wins ? its seems oddly simple to me. They do mix that in there, did it quite a bit last year if i can recall ? thing is , Bills miss key blocks. as if the play call is wrong and or no one is calling for adjustment ( Allen ). good point though. It did work a couple years ago. But we have lost some of those players like Seantrel . Max protect/ heavy/. heavy heavy/ might be a good idea before the season is over heck we might get to red zone goal line lined up if we still cannot move the line in shorts downs...

any thoughts on his replacement ? btw i think they are committed for the season to Daboll . just a gut feeling though

Gug, you may be right but you may be wrong. a little anyways. I feel that the Brina hire was actually because his flexibility. working with so many different ones in some capacity over the years. I think his knowledge is deep. giving him a pass as he just came from College ranks and was focused and those processes. But yes it has not looked smart fro the most part so far. And i agree , the run game need to be setting up the pass. It is criminal with Ivory and Dimarco available to grind yards and wear a defense down for Shady to break some ankles?? is the O line Really that bad gets a no confidence vote? and Brian feels only hope is to pass ? and the rest of the NFL already knows that ?

Interesting and similar take to mine. Rookie QB and Bodine are going to make mistakes. everyone is. But when a Bills player sees a rusher is going to come free and kill your QB ? you need to break off and at least chip. too many time i see O line double team a DT while seeing that someone is is about to rush free. Terrible attitude. or just stupid ? Sometimes you just need to recognize a bad or broken play call and calculate and react. then line up again. but jeez. the Line looks like it is making widgets. just doing what is called for and not a drop more. btw i already know the counter argument. But how many sacks last week ? doing your job is not enough at this point in Bills Offense. Make a damned play O line. Make me cheer please

I pray each week. seriously. on Monday though. Bills already have a transition plan to boot Castillo and hard. The errors are not Play calling so much as execution and effort from the O line. The only reasons we keep these veterans is because of their Game awareness and ability to to execute to play correctly. Painful, and i have no idea how anyone on the Bills organization can say otherwise. so someone sure as f better have a working plan to get this crap sorted yesterday. Daboll is new. Castillo likely gets benefit of the doubt till last weekend. time to move on. Daboll should have found a guy by now and McB should trust Brian to run BD's offense via Daboll's new O line Coach. it's not you, it's not me . it's Castillo who is ruining Sundays whos with me.. I do realize they have to spend a minimum amount as compared spending to the cap. Not sure what the window is with how deals are structured etc. Those details elude me each year for some reason ! but for sure they need to be smart with money moving forward. smarter even than they have ( imho) . but if you dump that much talent get free up money ? ya better be a smarter spender than Whaley and Co. Otherwise it is all for naught imo. If they could fill the roster with rockstars, i would be all for it ! I would think he was made aware of what he is coming into. Like any player. Show me. then the game day reps come with everything else. Bills are giving him a shot. but heck they give anyone a shot to show up and make good. seems fair enough to me though. Phillips should consider himself blessed and get to work imho dude its always a need. They get bigger and stronger and faster each year. Star actually is just eating two players. he is not plugging holes as much as seemed obvious. he is not getting penetration. he just occupies two guys nearly every play he reps. its a job and some one has to do it. thats why i suggested just one via FA. keep in mind they have to spend much of the money. Can't bank it and collect interest like Mr Wilson would have preferred : ) Because Benjamin has not worked out Bills will be looking for a named WR to bring on board. for the fans sake at least. if it was me ? i would be so over focused on the O line to protect Allen at least till his contract is due : ) that i would have traded for 3 pro bowlers and over paid two FAs while drafting another 4 and one in the 1st or second rd. yes i am that obsessed with fixing the O line next for the long term physical and mental health of Josh Allen.

If they can fix the O line, you may not need star receivers. The run game gets going and develop some balance so defenses don't T' off. They might only need the proper variance of skills at wrs. and the draft is where i hope they go. along with RB. I really cannot see where Bills can spend big money to change the team. Clowney is a nice example for sure, but i feel they just build through the draft again and fill in via FA unless they can wheel a deal for someone with cash leverage. But O line for me. fix that first. and really fix it this time, including an O line Coach. i digressed badly here. Fine with bringing in Jordan. I bet he likes it here. The D line is developing and will continue to improve. imo
