Derek Anderson is likely Coaching ready IMO. should have been brought in day after they drafted Allen if only to mentor. Having Barkley her now who can do a bit of that as well, and play is likely one of the highlight of the season in the QB room. He is a smart dud e from all I have read. and Barkley appears to be a viable backup you can put on the field with some degree of hope. good question yeps

I had to watch him of course. First play he was looking for someone to pummel. he made it to the second level i think ! on a pass play ! away from him. Over aggressive perhaps. But they also smacked some guys around. trending up already I think i fell in love. He played with attitude all game and perhaps inspired Bodine a bit. love the Bills underdogs

if we recall McD's running commentary about Nathan up until Anderson joined the team , and now Barkley being brought in to start? He talked very highly of his skills in practice and such. this move says to me, OOPS ! just kidding !!

isn't context important when citing single game stats. i have no dog in the fight , but that tough to hang your hat on about Barkley. and his college career may no longer be relevant , but one game stats when he had to start ? not sure i would measure him by that : )

maybe , maybe not. if they were going to fire him for playing Peterman this many times already is grounds for dismissal. Seems to me like they have a deal. and Pegulas are honorable People. as many as it takes. do not forget we need to fire everyone including Pegulas. This tanking is taking too long !!

Thats all we got at this point. and that's the reason i was being sure to watch at Game one. Allen would be starting at some point. By game two ! The entertainment factor in watching the Bills this year ? Was to watch Allen progress. and i have enjoyed watching every game he was in. That's fun and involving ! strikes me as odd and yes i recall that theme and others like that. reason to fire all of them. we should start a poll ! all in fun for me

I am not sure why so many folks are looking for a reason to fire McD. but i am fine with Allen sitting another week and then the bye. Might as well put in Barkley. But we might see Peterman again. Showcase him for a trade..or something that has little to do with winning.. : ) at this point i do not care what they do. They screwed the Pooch at QB this year as bad as anyone ever could. Tasker mentioned last week pregame , about getting immediate starters on the line via FA for Allen and the running game. Also a WR or two. Agreed that such a move allows BPA. But Bills have plenty of weak spots. Need ready to rumble impact players on offense this offseason. good post

Excellent post about how important technique is. I think even Teller recognizes his need to fine tune his leverage points. when and where to use his strength advantages. Young Kid and at least half smart, i have hope : ) I am a Teller fan. for all those that mentioned the line is the sum of it's parts , and not a single talent ? I agree. its something we have been mentioning for decades. I am a proponent of of building from the center out. Because I feel the guy calling the protection is the key. Sure you can consider guards a lesser value if you have two fine tackles. But if the guards cannot pick up the stunts and a/b gap blitzes and help the center and tackles? Your running game and QB pocket goes to hell in a hurry.
